"Eliminating chakra?"

Kaito still seemed hesitant. "I'm not entirely sure if this is the right path."

"Are you worried about humanity losing its power?"

Enma Daiō understood his concerns.

Kaito nodded. "I understand that chakra is a double-edged sword. Its existence enhances human strength, but it also carries the risk of being controlled and exploited by the Ōtsutsuki clan."

"Moreover, the influence of chakra can only be gradually erased," Enma Daiō said. "We may face a situation where shinobi grow progressively weaker, yet due to the lingering presence of chakra, they remain unable to awaken spiritual power."

Kaito sighed helplessly. "We can only take things one step at a time. After all, the cycle of nature operates on its own—even you, Enma Daiō, cannot interfere."

Enma Daiō sat up and asked, "How much longer do you need for your seclusion?"

"There's no fixed duration," Kaito replied.

Enma Daiō continued, "Recently, after expanding my senses, I detected a peculiar alternate dimension—likely one left behind by Ōtsutsuki Isshiki."

"An alternate dimension?" Kaito asked curiously. "What's special about it?"

Enma Daiō smiled and revealed the answer: "There is another Divine Tree sapling there."

Kaito closed his eyes, receiving the memory fragment transmitted by Enma Daiō.

Within a confined space, a miniature Ten-Tails was imprisoned, its body pierced by numerous black rods.

"So that's it." His eyes lit up. "Send me there!"

"No problem."

Enma Daiō stood and waved his sleeve, opening an irregularly shaped black portal.

"Follow me."

He stepped through first.

Kaito quickly rose and followed.

Upon passing through the portal, Kaito found himself in a desolate, stone-dominated alternate dimension.

"This way."

Enma Daiō walked purposefully in one direction.

Kaito followed behind, observing the surroundings—towering stone pillars, ruined stone structures, and mysterious altars built from rock.

The two traversed the collapsed remnants of ancient buildings until they arrived outside a black hall. Peering through the windows into the sunken interior, Kaito saw the same scene from Enma Daiō's memory.

"ROAR!!!"

The imprisoned miniature Ten-Tails sensed their presence, opening its enormous single eye and baring its fanged maw in a furious roar.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk."

Kaito leaped into the air, floating toward the Ten-Tails.

"ROAR!!!"

The Ten-Tails fixed its gaze on Kaito and roared again, its meaning unclear.

"Indeed, a Ten-Tails that hasn't absorbed planetary energy is still a sapling—an unplanted Divine Tree," Kaito mused. "And a sapling is incomparably weaker than its mature form."

"Wait."

He suddenly stared at the Ten-Tails' eye.

"Why does it have a Nine-Tomoe Rinne Sharingan?"

Enma Daiō placed a hand on the Ten-Tails' massive eyeball and shook his head. "Don't be fooled by its appearance. Its eye is merely an empty shell now."

"I see."

Kaito stroked his chin, examining the Ten-Tails from all angles, even circling it midair despite its furious thrashing.

"It seems the Divine Tree truly is a mass-produced tool of the Ōtsutsuki clan—a weapon of war designed to plunder a planet's energy."

He turned to Enma Daiō and asked, "Can you sense it? Does it possess a soul?"

Enma Daiō's eyes glowed bright purple as he scanned the Ten-Tails' body before finally shaking his head.

"Only a faint consciousness remains. This monster operates on simple instincts, its mind no more complex than an insect's."

"Because it's a weapon, it doesn't need intelligence?" Kaito speculated.

"But that's fine. I'll uncover more secrets."

Clapping his hands excitedly, Kaito declared, "Now, how should we handle this thing?"

Suddenly, he clasped his hands together again. "Let's seal it and take it back to Ōeyama. I have a new research subject!"

Without delay, he sprang into action.

Landing on the ground, Kaito began pulling out one Ryūmyaku Crystal after another from his sleeve.

Enma Daiō materialized silently beside him. "This king wouldn't mind dragging this creature into the Yellow Spring Hell as a pet."

"Tsk, don't waste such a crucial research specimen," Kaito retorted, his hands moving swiftly as the sealing array around the Ten-Tails took shape.

"Begin!"

He crouched and slammed his palms onto the ground.

"Array, activate!"

The countless Ryūmyaku Crystals embedded around the Ten-Tails emitted a golden light. Lines of sealing formulas surfaced, quickly interconnecting into a cohesive whole.

A pillar of golden radiance erupted, engulfing the Ten-Tails' body.

"Uwooooh…"

The Ten-Tails let out an eerie howl.

Kaito formed hand seals and clapped his palms together one last time.

"Bind!!!"

Golden chains shot out from the array, weaving through the air at blinding speed before tightly restraining the Ten-Tails.

Without needing verbal coordination, Enma Daiō lent his assistance.

Raising his right hand, streams of purple energy slithered from his sleeve like a swarm of serpents, swiftly yanking out the black rods that imprisoned the Ten-Tails.

"AAAAAAAAAAAH—!!!"

The Divine Tree screeched, thrashing violently.

"Good thing this dimension is entirely made of stone. It couldn't absorb anything through its roots, making it much easier to subdue," Kaito remarked.

"Heh." Enma Daiō chuckled. "Perhaps Ōtsutsuki Isshiki deliberately designed the space this way to imprison the sapling."

"Fair point. That's likely the truth."

Once all the black rods had been removed, Kaito clapped his hands together forcefully.

"Seal!!!"

The golden light intensified. The chains binding the Ten-Tails tightened further as its wails grew increasingly distorted.

Simultaneously, the array began shrinking.

The radiance grew brighter as the array condensed.

A blinding flash erupted—then faded.

The Ten-Tails and the array had vanished, leaving behind a golden crystal half a person's height. Sealing formulas shimmered across its surface, and within its depths, the faint silhouette of the Ten-Tails could be seen.

Kaito walked over and stored the crystal in his sleeve.

Then he turned to Enma Daiō.

"Take me back."

The irregular black portal reopened.

The two crossed through, returning to the secluded chamber in Kaito's residence in Ōeyama.

"Why bring it back? You could have claimed that alternate dimension for yourself," Enma Daiō suddenly pointed out. "It would have been more useful than this chamber."

Kaito sighed. "You know why. I'm concerned other Ōtsutsuki might infiltrate that space."

"Don't forget."

Enma Daiō stepped closer, placing a hand on his shoulder. Their identical faces drew near.

"Now that this king holds the position of a true deity, that alternate dimension can belong solely to us."
