Carson Flores once again struck with his sword, hitting another finger and producing a clear collision sound of metal.
To his surprise and delight, Carson Flores found an extremely fine crack on the untempered knuckle bone.
Despite the crack not being obvious, it indicated that the attack had exceeded the bone's defensive limit.
The untempered bone could defend but would be damaged, yet the thoroughly tempered index finger bone, even after the same strike, showed neither cracks nor the slightest scratch on its surface.
Hard!
Carson Flores was thrilled; it seemed the technique truly worked!
Now that Carson Flores had embarked on the Path of the Sword Bone, he naturally could only continue down this path, making his bones even harder, unbreakable by any object!
If bones could be tempered, could the skin, flesh, and internal organs be tempered too?
If that was possible, would his skin turn black and eventually shine like a scorpion's?
That wouldn't be too wonderful!
