Evan Foster looked at Carson Flores in surprise: "Why are you suddenly so polite? Just tell me what you need!"
Carson smiled and said, "This time when going to the Divine Wood Palace, I hope to visit under your name, um, to put it simply, I won't show up."
Evan Foster readily agreed, "Of course, that's no problem, but can I know why?"
Carson replied, "My relationship with Cristopher Hopkins Immortal is good, but I'm enemies with Maggie Fitzgerald, and she happens to be in charge of the eastern part of the Heavenly Profound Continent. I don't want her to know about my situation, including the identity of my friends, as I'm afraid it would cause her trouble."
Evan Foster seemed to understand, and his expression turned sly: "A small matter, of course, it's not a problem, but seeing how much you care, is it really just friends?"
Carson replied calmly, "My wife."
