"Here's some medicine for you, take it to prevent catching a cold!" After saying this, he took out a box from under the coffee table.
However, An Ning didn't take the medicine, instead she stared at his eyes...black eyes.
Mo Ang saw the astonishment in her eyes and understood what she had discovered. "The medicine, just take it."
He stuffed the medicine into her hand.
An Ning looked at him in shock. "Why are your eyes black?"
Mo Ang gave a roguish smile. "My eyes have always been black, why?"
An Ning shook her head. "Aren't your eyes blue?"
"Contact lenses!" He replied crisply.
"So you made me think you're a foreigner? No, you made everyone think you're a foreigner, what do you mean by that?" An Ning asked in amazement.
Mo Ang looked innocent. "I've never told any of you that I'm of foreign descent, I'm just a foreign national."
"So you're not mixed race either?" An Ning pressed.
"Correct!"
An Ning stared at him intently, seeking more answers.
