The children of Exilon were taught from an early age that their only purpose in life was to fight and die for the Zanis Family. Any concept of childhood joy, play, or dreams was methodically stripped from their minds. It was a truly heartbreaking and cruel process, one that forged them into miniature soldiers—ready to follow orders and charge into battle, even if death was certain.
That was the reason such little child would dare to attack such a monster as a Reaper. Without hesitation, he knelt down to pick up another piece of broken weaponry from the ground. The Reaper surged forward, its colossal body moving with horrifying speed and momentum. One swipe of its claws was more than enough to turn the child into nothing but a smear of blood on the ground.
But the worst did not happen.
