Their purpose was clear and absolute: to keep the hordes of Vorometallicae that infested the Chaovoratities Plane from interfering in the battle of the Lords.
The Vorometallicae were countless — billions of twisted, metallic abominations howling across the scorched plains, a storm of madness and steel with tens of thousands of Legends among them.
