The second placed him inside a nobleman's townhouse long enough to replace one sealed letter with another. The third never required him to cross a locked door. He followed a warehouse supervisor for four days and identified the tavern where the man sold information about incoming cargo.
None of the targets learned Lucian had been there.
That mattered more to the Hidden Ledger than a dramatic escape.
