Chapter 28 - CHAPTER 28

They silently dragged Glen into a dimly lit alley close to a dumping site. Rick yanked him by his collar slamming his back against the rough wall, the force of the collision caused him to groan leaving him breathless as he struggled to endure the pain.

Now surrounded by his foes, rick, Lebrun, Lydia and Donnie.

Lebrun stepped forward, his expression twisted with malice as he fixed Glen a piercing glare silently. Without warning, he aggressively seized Glen by his hair, pulling him close. "Hey fag, what is your relationship with Henry?" Lebrun asked, his voice cold and threatening.

Rick derided sharply. "I swear this bastard's existence just pisses me off for no reason, it makes me wanna crush him."

"Maybe he's trying to seduce Henry like he may have with other men, and honestly it really is working." Lydia sneered, her voice dripping in contempt.

Their laugher echoed off the alley walls cruelly. Glen's heart rate rumbled in his ears. He trembled, as a wave of panic surged through him.

Lebrun abruptly slammed his other hand against the wall beside Glen, leaning closer with a malicious stare.

"I'll ask again." He alerted, each word cold and firm. "What is your relationship with Henry? If I have to ask again, you'd really wish you spoke."

Glen's pupil dilated even more, his breathing compressed. He parted his lips to speak, but a knot tied the words in his throat. He clutched his chest sweat beads trickling down his forehead as he struggled to breathe.

Lebrun released his cheek and straightened his posture to his full height. "By the time I count down to three, you better give me the darn answers." He said, his cold voice determined. He started the countdown. "One"

Glen's lips parted but a rough whisper fled. "I—"

Lydia frowned. "What is wrong with him?!" She snapped contemptuously.

"I hope he dosent wet his pants." Donnie muttered, a contemptuous giggle followed closely.

"Two." Lebrun's countdown continued through their ridicule.

"Lebrun…please I—!" Glen's voice cracked out, tears streaming down his cheeks under the mass of fright.

Lebrun's countdown hung in the air, a string of hesitation moved in his eyes as he stared at Glen's trembling shoulders, his tears stained face. lebrun's cold gaze softened

His gaze hung on Glen, held by something inscrutable.

Lydia's expression etched with perplexity. "What the hell? Is he getting under your skin right now?" She jeered.

Rick stepped forward to Lebrun scowling in displeasure. "What's going on man? Why'd you stop half way?!!" He demanded with annoyance. "Don't tell me you suddenly feel some sympathy for him?"

Seeing Lebrun's silence, he shifted his blazing glare to Glen yanking him forward by his collar impatiently. "Fuck it, Let's finish with the piece of shit."

"No—!" Glen's eyes widened in desperation as he protested, his heart racing uncontrollably as a struggled groan escaped his lips from the grip on his hair.

Donnie prompted forward and arm locked Glen from behind holding him firmly. Lydia pulled out her phone, her eyes gleaming in anticipation, as she waited for them. Rick grasped the lower edge of Glen's sweater and tugged it up to his neck and began working his fingers to rip open his shirt.

"Please stop!" Glen's anguished yell ruptured through the alley, his body twisting and turning as he struggled to escape their grasp.

Lebrun's jaw tightened, his fist Clenched. Anger—guilt and conflict spinning within him.

He turned away, unable to watch or intervened.

"What the actual hell is going on here?"

Henry's icy voice abruptly cut through the tension, bringing the scene to a halt. They all turned to his direction, their eyes froze stunned.

Henry stood at the entrance, Displeasure and disgust—carved onto his countenance.

"Henry?" Lebrun's voice whispered, but Henry deliberately ignored him as he stepped towards Glen.

They let go of Glen concurrently and he crashed to the ground, relief overwhelming him in tears that he'd tried to suppress.

Henry's gaze fell on the small frame curled up and trembling at his feet. His brows furrowed —the veins on his forehead pulsed up in anger, his eyes settled with wrath.

"And Who thought this would be a good idea?" He demanded, his icy glare sweeping across the surrounding, causing them to flinch, intimidated.

A security guard suddenly walked in, wrapping a coat over Glen and helped him up on his feet.

"Henry what even in the world has gotten into you? Why are you suddenly picking a wimp over us??" Rick asked Henry, his expression a mixture of anger and disbelief.

Henry's brows creased as he scruntinized them with an incredulous stare from their head to their toe. A cynical chuckle suddenly fled his lips. "You scumbags are really pathetic."

In a brusque motion Henry extended his hands to Lydia in a demanding gesture, she hesitated for a moment before handing her phone to him. He deleted the video briskly before abruptly smashing her phone to the ground, shattering it.

Lydia flinched and she snapped in furry. "What did you do that for?!!"

Henry's smirk enlarged. "Deleting it only simply wasn't satisfying."

Lydia clenched her fists, trembling even more. "You…bastard."

Without an alert, he pulled out some cash from his wallet and hurled it at her, each bills scattered at her feet.

"What the?" Seeing the amount of money her furry faltered, she awkwardly bent and began picking the money up.

Rick's expression dimmed in rage. "What the hell?!" He yelled.

"When you pick garbages out of the sewers they wanna feel amongst the fresh clean cabbages. I knew low life like you wimps would resort to this." He said as he stepped forward to Rick, his voice dripping in contempt. He leaned closer, his voice piercing. "Has anyone told you your breathe is disparaging?"

Shame coated Rick, he became abashed. "You fucker!!" He shouted raising a fist to swing.

Donnie restrained him immediately. "Rick what are you trying to do?"

"Who does this bastard think he is?!" Rick groaned angrily trying to escaped Donnie's grip.

Glen watched silently, extremely confused. Why was Henry helping him out?

Henry adjusted his posture with a sardonic smile that never faltered. "Maybe I didn't make myself clear the other day. I don't want to ever see the likes of you pests around my space ever again." He turned and walked forward to Lebrun who was still trying to scramble for answers in his head.

"Why do you look so lost Lebrun? Did you see a ghost?" Henry enquired, and amused smile apparent on his lips.

"What has gotten into you Henry?" Lebrun asked Henry, their eyes interlocked. "Are you also fucking dudes now?"

Henry cocked his brow and began laughing. "How'd you figure it out so fast?"

Everyone gasped loudly.

"Oh. My. God." Lydia whispered, covering her mouth.

"Oh…" Lebrun's eyes widened a disinclined chuckled escaped his lips. "You're really are full of suprises, Henry."

"I knew it!!" Rick cut in yelling. "Cus tell me why Henry would want to hang out with a wimp?!"

Glen's face turned red, he bowed his head shame faced.

Still amused Henry continued. "Now you know, stay the fuck away from my property starting from today." He stepped up to Glen and pulled him by his wrist, softly dragging him out of the alley followed by his body guard.

"Wow…seriously, wow!" Henry now does guys too?!!" Lydia broke into the silence still in utter disdain.

"What in the world would Henry not do? I told y'all that might be the case, and now it has been confirmed!" Rick said a vindictive grin apparent on his face.

Lebrun only stood there silently in disbelief, he covered his mouth blinking. "So Henry now does guys too…"

"Hey Lebrun, what's the catch now?" Donnie asked.

Lebrun brows creased and a sudden wave of anger filled him. "I think it's about time y'all get lost now." He said in a cold voice and walked out the alley whilst they watch puzzled.

Rick's lips trembled in furry, he clenched his fist. "Who the fuck do these bastards think they are to just discard people like shit!!"

Glen and Henry sat in the car the night reflecting silently against the window. Glen's tensed demeanor was apparent, he lowered his head nervously, tugging at the hem of his shirt due to Henry's cold demeanor.

He swallowed hard as he threw furtive glances at Henry who seem distant like his thoughts had trailed off.

"I hope those crazy fuckers didn't hit you?" Henry said abruptly, his voice softening as he cupped Glen's cheeks in his hands.

Glen's breathe seized. "N-no, they didn't." He whispered, his cheeks burning red.

Henry gaze moved to Glen's lips, red, soft and tempting. He leaned closer initiating a kiss. Glen had no chance to react or resist, his hands rested on Henry's shoulders, cheeks burning, and he could hear the loud thumping of his heart beats.

From the front seat, the driver watched silently from the rear view mirror unfazed. It was nothing new to his sight.

Henry pulled away lightly, still close enough to feel Glen's breathe brushing against his neck. His hands moved softly carresing Glen's jaw, slow and controlling.

Glen's eyes slowly moved down, Henry had already reacted. Awkwardness swept in his demeanor and he immediately averted his gaze to the floor abashed.

"Shall we, Glen?" Henry whispered to his ears, sending rays if shiver down his spine.

Glen swallowed hard and nodded not able to hold Henry's gaze.

A satisfied grin etched across Henry's lips. His cold eyes locked onto the driver's eyes through the rear mirror. He tapped the car glass window twice—a quiet order.

The car engine started, and the car motioned forward.

Henry embraced Glen—patting his hair softly. His voice slow and steady, a perilous promise. "I'll take care of you tonight."
