She was very aware of his loyalty to Otaru and she wouldn't blame him if he chose the path that Lola had chosen. It was the one that made the most sense, given the predicament they were in at the moment. Maybe it would even have better reaps, right?
But Minato had long made his choice about what he had to do, come hell or high water.
Back when Yuka had let him come to the Grand palace, it had been the craziest of shit that Minato had ever heard but he had leaned towards that idea. It had been a decision that had taken months before Yuka even gave the go-ahead.
The woman had known just how dangerous the queen was and the fact that Otaru almost worshipped Sakura was a dangerous bit of the log gamble in that damned palace. She had been right to worry back then too.
But now, six years in, Minato had learned the ways of the court.
