[SAKURA]
Fixing Sakura's wounds was hard.
The woman was currently unconscious.
Completely.
They had tried to keep her conscious, but with time, it had proven pointless. Which was why they had to be very careful with whatever they did to avoid causing worse damage.
Sure, the bleeding had slowed for a moment, but that didn't make this any easier for them. The sacrifice was too much, but hey, they had sworn loyalty and fealty to each other, hadn't they?
They would fix her and get this done with.
After all, if the tables were turned, Sakura would never have abandoned them. Perhaps they were just doomed to be standing on the sidelines while their friend lost what was conceivably the most dangerous game in the realm.
Perhaps they didn't see it that way.
Maybe they saw it as a chance at a new beginning, but why did it break their hearts each time that Sakura winced subconsciously?
"I'm sorry about this, truly," a tired Tsuki said as she struggled to keep her cool.
