Something was off.
Death wasn't supposed to be so welcoming, and yet as she looked around her, she felt like she was home and didn't have to fight anymore. It was almost like she hadn't been stabbed, ever.
She was at her full strength, something that could only ever happen if she crossed the afterlife and her heart broke for her friends and for her greatest love.
Pushing the covers off of her, Sakura figured it was time to walk around and see what kind of place she was in. The walls seemed familiar. Way too familiar, they had her favorite lavender scent, the reminder that she was in hell.
She had always known this scent would haunt her always and forever, but the fact that it crossed over with the afterlife was something else. But then at least she could remind herself that once upon a time she had been loved.
