When she had left the manor to come here, Kiyomi had not expected that she would be welcomed with open arms.
It was the most obvious thing for her, so it wasn't surprising when she walked in and her best friend, or rather her former friend, was the one standing at the gates with a frown on his face.
She knew what she was getting into and what the stakes were, which was why, when Minato told her that she wasn't welcome here – the Grand palace that she had trashed with bodies barely hours ago – Kiyomi just smiled at him.
It was not the creepy kind of smile, but it was one that told Minato to move or watch himself be moved. It was a threat that was covered in a smile. Perhaps because she still considered him someone dear to her.
Many times, in the past few hours, most of the people who had dared Kiyomi to move the theme had somewhat managed to end up lifeless. And it was a shame that most of them had been the best of the best in this musty kingdom.
