[KUANGXIN]
"What is it?" Sakura asked as calmly as she could.
She was honestly worried for Liu Kuangxin. She had never seen the woman faint like that, and the fact that she was not waking up had Sakura worried.
Maybe because even though they'd parted ways, she still appreciated the fact that Liu had been there for her through the hardest days of her life. Three happy decades with someone was not child's play.
Sakura was smart enough to know that it was a kind of connection that never just disappeared.
"What I'm about to tell you might get me killed by my queen, but someone has to say it," General Xu began, and Sakura stared at him curiously. She was looking for markers that this man was playing games with her, but there were none.
He was sincere.
That was something that Sakura appreciated, even if the conversation wasn't the kind of thing that would give them both any peace.
