Chapter 446 - When Love Was So Damn Exhausting

Minato stared at the dead bodies on the ground.

He had not expected this, and frankly, Kiyomi hadn't either. But the fact that this was what had become of them was the reminder that Sakura's will was never going to be bent. 

The undead would pay the price, and if Kiyomi didn't give him up, she would probably pay the price for it too.

On one hand, Minato hated what his loss would do to Kiyomi, and on the other hand, his staying alive would weaken Kiyomi's position with Sakura. It was not that hard to tell what he would do, but his choices were not that many for him.

And before Kiyomi could say anything, Minato thrust the sword into his chest, not giving the good doctor the chance to do anything.

He couldn't.

It was too costly and he had to choose for both of them. 

This was the only thing he could do as her friend.
