[KIYOMI]
The queen's chambers were dimly lit when Kiyomi walked in, tired from the long night of strategies with the Doiwa generals and the Tetsuyas.
That was more than she had imagined possible, and frankly, if she were to earn a dime for every moment she thought the ideas were insane, she would probably be running a gold refinery plant by now.
It had been the best night she had ever had, and though that would never mean much to her like the woman on the bed.
She had made sure to hurry to make sure that she came home before Sakura woke up. That she was there before the queen had enough time to think about the horrors in the night.
But when she stepped in, the breaths that were slowed were not the first thing she saw, rather, the silhouette on the bed, waiting for her like a wife waiting for a warrior from war.
