By the next evening, Ling Hanxiao's private jet arrived back in the country. As he stepped off the plane, the streetlights suddenly all lit up.
The driver had been waiting at the entrance to the tarmac. Ling Hanxiao hurriedly got into the car and instructed the driver to head back to Fengwei Mountain.
The Ling Family's old residence was situated atop Fengwei Mountain, a classical and antique-style villa.

The servant who came to open the door saw the unexpectedly returned Ling Hanxiao and, in a panicked and fearful expression, said awkwardly:

"Hold it!" Ling Hanxiao's commanding voice made the servant freeze, and looking up to meet his scrutinizing gaze, she swallowed hard.
"I won't be troubling the Old Madam with my matters on return."
With those words, Ling Hanxiao dismissed the unsuspecting servant and turned towards the direction of the living room.
