Gu Mingnian followed Gu Minglu pitifully into the apartment.
Gu Minglu had prepared slippers especially for Gu Mingnian. She strutted into her brother's bachelor apartment wearing the pink bunny slippers and plopped herself onto the sofa, pouting as she watched Gu Minglu also change shoes and head to the open kitchen to pour her some milk.
Gu Minglu placed the poured milk in front of Gu Mingnian, "Not going to school tomorrow?"
"I am."
"Tomorrow, going to school from here means waking up 2 hours earlier," Gu Minglu said.
"I'm willing." Gu Mingnian seemed still quite unhappy.
"Alright, drink the milk and get to bed early. I'll drop you off tomorrow morning."
"No need, I've grown up and can go to school by myself."
"I'll drop you tomorrow morning," Gu Minglu stated confidently.
