"Mo Shangjun!"
As Su Bei shouted, a fierce gust came crashing down, followed by the dull sound of fists colliding.
It grazed across her cheek, bringing a chilling sense of murderous intent.
——Mo Shangjun finally snapped out of it and deflected the indefinable punch.
Mo Shangjun's force slammed hard onto the rocks inside the cave, then stopped, no longer attacking like a wild beast.
The light inside the cave was dim. Mo Shangjun stood with her back to the light, making it impossible to see her expression, but Su Bei could clearly feel the murderous aura from her gradually dissipating, and those killer eyes slowly returning to calm.
Then, the grasp on her collar loosened.
Mo Shangjun took several seconds before coming to her senses—realizing where she was and what had happened.
She looked at Su Bei, whom she had grabbed, and felt the pain in her right hand fingers. Her mind turned, linking the cause and effect.
"Sorry."
