Mo Shangjun secures a section to the rock, double-checking to ensure it's firmly tied before considering it done.
"Ding Jing, you're first." Mo Shangjun said to Ding Jing, "Support Liang Zhiqiong when you're down."
Ding Jing puts away the knife in her hand and then said, "Why don't you go down first."
Since the length of the vine is not adjustable, if someone accidentally falls, the person above can help hold on a bit, at least they would only hit the cliff wall, not fall directly to the ground. But as the last person going down, if there's no one above to hold on, it's going to be a disaster if they slip and fall.
Ding Jing feels she can handle it and doesn't need Mo Shangjun's care.
Moreover, she has this vague feeling... that Mo Shangjun would take the overall situation into account and subconsciously take care of them.
Having been used to going solo, Ding Jing, to be honest, is not very used to this one-sided care.
