The arrival of Milos instantly captured the attention of the remaining guests who hadn't yet entered the castle. Their gazes were subtly curious as many whispered among themselves.
"Someone from the Hawk Family is here, and it's none other than the eldest daughter!"
"I heard that the Hawk Family has been facing business problems lately, and their stock prices have plummeted!"
"I heard they offended someone!"
"Really? Who would have such power? Isn't Mr. Soruns backing the Hawk Family?"
"I'm not sure, but this time, it seems Mr. Soruns is ignoring them as well!"
"Hush, don't speak recklessly! Even if the Hawk Family's business faces setbacks, they're not ones we can afford to provoke. As the saying goes, 'A starved camel is still bigger than a horse!'"
As Milos approached, those voices quietly ceased.
The elderly butler respectfully welcomed Milos inside, and Milos, in turn, treated the butler with more courtesy than her usual aloofness.
