These Ecesis Angels believe that eyes are the windows to observing the world, so the number of eyes represents the amount of wisdom. Hence, the thousand eyes on the Ecesis Angels symbolize supreme wisdom and the ability to see through all sins, claiming no sin can escape their sight.
