Late night.
The blood moon was high in the sky.
Its transparent, pure blood-colored light cast down, giving off a dreamlike beauty.
An awe-inspiring strength was hidden within.
Beauty meant deadly.
Liya regrettably withdrew her gaze, gradually calming the voices in her mind, and turned her head to look at the avatars of Famiel and Serra.
Serra glanced at her watch, observing the massive silhouette hidden in the water mist with interest, and said appreciatively:
"You're still the best at this; when you want to fight, you drag some out to die."
In the past, Liya would have assumed Serra was being sarcastic.
Now, she merely shook her head slightly and, staring at the prepared Kael Elven City in the distance, directly countered:
"Why is the Bay Domain willing to do something so thankless?"
"Once they anger the Kael Elves, they certainly won't let it go easily."
In Liya's view, the "peace" between the Bay Domain and the Kael Elves should be carefully maintained.
