[3rd POV]
Sitting in between the two Grand Zeno's, Gwen silently watched the tournament as it began to heat up more and more. With the various Z-Fighters battling it out with the weaker fighters in the tournament, while trying to keep their stamina drainage at a minimum.
They didn't want to get exhausted in the 48 minutes that the tournament lasted for. And they didn't want to use up all their power before the real battles began. Like the ones against Jiren and Kale and all of the others.
The tournament itself would have been impossible to really follow for any normal person. With the fighters moving so fast that they appeared as nothing more than blurs to a normal person's sight.
But Gwen could easily see what they were doing, and had to admit that it was quite flashy. Not really all that impressive or anything, but it was certainly flashy. And the martial arts that some of them were showing was quite interesting to her.
Interesting enough that she was actively copying all of them with no difficulty, absentmindedly combining them and forming new martial arts forms from them for the future. She could see them being useful for her androids that could utilize Ki.
Androids like Leriac.
"Whoa, it's all so flashy!" Zeno 1 exclaimed with sparkling eyes, as the other Zeno nodded rapidly in agreement. They could both follow the fights easily, but the amount of explosions and flashing that echoed throughout the stadium was quite the sight to them.
"Hmm, looks like Goku is finally going to show off a little" Gwen said, noticing Goku entering super saiyan god blue, mostly because he had almost gotten knocked off of the platform, and once you are knocked off, you are out of the tournament.
At this point several universes were losing members, mostly the weaker universes that were pretty much doomed from the start. Like universe 9, 10, and 2. The rest of the teams were actually pretty decent, with 11 being the best of them.
Well, besides 7, which was naturally the best of them all thanks to Leriac being there. He could single handedly take most of the combatants in the tournament at the same time. It was only fighters like Vegeta, Goku and Jiren that would be a challenge even for him.
Barely a challenge, but still a challenge.
"Oh! He's all blue now like before!" Zeno 1 said, remembering the time he had seen the energetic saiyan going super saiyan god blue. The power that he exuded was pretty impressive.
"Mmhmm, he's in his Super Saiyan God Blue form" Gwen responded, nodding at their excitement. The two of them just looked more interested in Goku upon hearing that explanation, as they continued to watch the tournament.
At some point Gwen had summoned some food and shared it with the two Omni-Kings, which the two happily munched on.
"Oh this is delicious! What is it?" Zeno 2 asked with a tilt of his strangely shaped head. What he was eating was some simple popcorn she had whipped up, but it was probably the best tasting popcorn in this multiverse, so the reaction was expected.
"It's just some popcorn that I whipped up. But I am glad that you liked it. Perhaps I can give you the recipe so you can make it yourself in the future?" Gwen offered, as the two nodded rapidly wanting to have it more often.
Seeing their reasons she summoned a book.
"Here. This is a book with a few hundred of my recipes. I'm sure you'll find all sorts of delicious dishes inside that you'll enjoy" Gwen said, handing the book over to the two of them as they beamed happily.
"Thanks Gwen, you're awesome!" Both the Zeno's exclaimed happily, putting the book to the side to look it over later. They would definitely have to use it in the future if all of her cooking was as good as her popcorn.
With that, the trio began to watch the tournament once again. With Goku and Jiren eventually coming to a conflict, which gave birth to the Incomplete Ultra Instinct form that he had taken. Which was quite powerful.
All the while Leriac had been slowly taking out every other universe besides 6 and 11. None of the other universes could even fight back as he entered super saiyan to fight them. And not once during the tournament had he entered a higher form, which was making the remaining Gods of Destruction nervous.
They could all tell that he was immensely powerful, maybe even stronger than Jiren by their estimations. While Gwen knew he was far stronger. She was still interested in seeing their battle though.
A battle that soon began, after Goku was forced to exit the incomplete ultra instinct form, and go fight someone else. Jiren being too much for him to battle just yet, as he hadn't mastered ultra instinct yet, and that would be the prerequisite for fighting someone as powerful as him.
With him leaving, Leriac had been given the go ahead to fight and battle it out with Jiren. She wanted to see what her android can do, and she hoped that it would be a decent battle to watch.
And as it turned out, it was.
Leaning forwards in their chairs, the two Zeno's watched in glee as Leriac's fist slammed against Jiren's stomach, launching him back. He was currently in Super Saiyan God, and was beating the shit out of the pale skinned alien.
Jiren was fighting back and landing his own blows against him, but they weren't hitting even remotely as hard, and he was getting hit far more than he was hitting Leriac.
And Leriac had not even entered his best form, which was mastered ultra instinct. He could use it no matter what, but this form would basically boost his power even further. And the best thing he could do was enter Super Saiyan 4 and then stack another super saiyan on top of it.
It was like a new base form, allowing him to enter super saiyan 1, 2, 3, god, blue, and mastered ultra instinct in that form. Which basically just gave him a huge boost in power, and was quite the cheat in terms of power boosting.
"Whoa your android is so strong!" Zeno 2 exclaimed in awe, as the other Gods of Destruction were all looking at Leriac in slight fear, they could feel the power he was exuding, and it was beyond most if not all of them.
Which is why he was beating the snot out of Jiren at this point.
"Thanks, he's one of my finest works" Gwen responded as the battle continued, with Jiren being pushed to the edge. He was shaking the surroundings with his power, anger on his face as he was launching all of his power at Leriac.
The battles continued in a one sided slaughter as Leriac ripped through the remaining fighters. Jiren was launched back off of the platform with a powerful blow from a slightly excited Leriac.
The fight itself wasn't that tough, but it had been a little enjoyable. More than he was expecting.
After taking Jiren out, he moved through the rest of the platform, taking out the rest of the fighters with practiced ease. The other fighters looked a little disappointed, but knew that now wasn't to complain that he was taking out all of the fighters.
Goku would probably want to fight again later.
And with little more than a whimper, the tournament of power had ended, and that left Gwen with only one thought on her mind.
'That was...underwhelming'
