[3rd POV]
As it turns out, becoming a primordial was a bit more complicated than Gwen was anticipating. As actually finding a primordial was a lot more difficult than she had thought. For they were the embodiment of simple concepts, making it difficult to actually find their physical form.
She would have to effectively absorb the entire concept into herself if she wanted to safely absorb the primordial into herself. But that was the hard way, the far far easier way to go about things was to simply absorb their physical form, which would be more than enough for her to become a primordial.
Finding a primordial had proven to be rather difficult at first. As most of them were in hiding or refused to take physical forms with her around. But she did find one eventually, a primordial that was actually sealed and locked away, the perfect target, for the primordial couldn't fight back even if it wanted to.
Basically, it was free food. But, she found that the primordials of the Marvel universe were...different, strange. They were closer to Gods than primordials that she knew, and didn't actually embody the concepts, not truly.
Which meant she had to go to a different universe to find her primordial to consume.
And with that came the decision to head to the Percy Jackson universe. The perfect place to find and consume a primordial without having to worry much about the consequences, as she would expand her influence to that realm too.
There were a number of Primordials that she had in mind for consumption. But there was only a few that she could reasonably go after without causing too much of a fuss. Mostly because she didn't consume beings that were good, and most of the primordials were neutral at best.
While there were two primordials she knew for a fact were pretty evil. And these two primordials were Gaea and Tartarus, the husband wife duo. Both of them were evil, and the former was the main antagonist later in the series of PJO. Meaning she would have the perfect excuse to absorb not just one of them, but both of them.
And the best part about it is that by absorbing them, she would become them. Meaning that the world won't fall apart or something, as she would still have dominion in the domains, and even more domains as her other domains cemented and she embodied them as well.
The only downside is that Chaos would likely not be pleased with her absorbing one of its children. But just from entering the universe, she could tell that there was not a single person in that universe that was even remotely close to her in power.
The closest was Chaos, and that entity was still far from her in power.
Meaning, she could easily absorb the ones she wants without having to worry much about the consequences.
Which is why she was currently in the Underworld, the dominion of Hades. She was traveling towards the physical location of Tartarus, or at least its entrance. As once she enters that place, she can then find and consume the physical form of the Primordial.
At the same time, one of her clones was traveling to the location of where Gaea was sleeping, deep inside of Earth, which she was the embodiment of. Finding her wouldn't be difficult, and once she was done with Tartarus, she would go and consume her afterwards.
As Gwen walked towards the entrance of Tartarus, she glanced off into the distance with a small chuckle.
'Seems the little fates have noticed me' Gwen thought, sensing the three fates were trying to interfere with her, trying to lay their hands upon her fate. Something that was absolutely impossible for them, for she was free of fate and destiny, and could write her own path.
As was her right as the Queen in Black and as Eternity and Infinity.
'I'll leave them be...for now' Gwen thought, deciding to ignore the little entities, and instead focused back on the entrance to Tartarus. Which was basically a giant pit that led into Tartarus itself.
A pit that Gwen stepped into with a smile on her face, as she fell through it. She didn't let herself fall for very long though, as in the next instant she had landed within Tartarus itself, her speed allowing her to instantly reach the bottom.
And in the next instant, she had scanned the entirety of Tartarus, looking for anyone to consume besides Tartarus.
She didn't really find much of note besides him. Sure there was Nyx, but she decided to leave her alone, as the woman was pretty neutral, and she had no need for her power.
She could feel the entity staring down at her, either fearful or confused on what she was. As she was not human, and no matter how hard it tried, Tartarus could not sense what she was, and how she existed in the first place.
She was impossible.
"You going to come out, Tartarus? Or am I going to have to drag your physical form here?" Gwen asked openly, knowing the creature was looking at her. Knowing that it was contemplating what to do with her.
"You are an arrogant worm, aren't you?" The voice of Tartarus boomed, as its physical form began to appear in front of her. It was large and pretty impressive, and almost looked like a giant suit of armor.
The creature was also trying to show off to her, probably trying to intimidate her. But Gwen just stared up at it in boredom, not even wanting to bother with the stupid villain speech or whatever he was about to start.
So, without even saying a word, she lifted her hand and a powerful vortex formed. Tartarus's eyes widened in alarm as he felt it, the danger in front of him. The powerful pulling sensation that was beginning to pull on his very being, not just his physical form.
"Wha-stop that!" Tartarus roared, as it's energy crashed against the bored Gwen, who only stared up at it without care.
"Nah, I don't think I will" Gwen responded simply, as Tartarus couldn't do anything to Gwen, as she effortlessly absorbed the Primordial into her being.
And the second she did, she felt it.
The power. Incredible, immense, nigh-omnipotent power. She could feel her mind begin to expand farther and farther, as her sight expanded more and more. Perfect knowledge on all the domains she held began to flood her mind. Absolute dominion coming with it, as she could feel all the prayers, all the power, all the people using her domains.
She could feel and see everything in every universe she had traveled to so far. As she became the physical embodiment of every concept she had dominion over. And with it, came an absolutely giant boost in power.
At the same time, the other primordials of this universe were reacting in fear, feeling the power of the new entity that was quickly dominating the universe. While the likes of Gaea couldn't even react before she too was absorbed into the entity, not from up close, but from where she was in Tartarus.
Which was also a part of her at this point. So too was Earth and every other Earth she had traveled to so far. She could feel her energies growing rapidly with it, as she breathed out with a happy smile on her face, ignoring the fear that she could feel from the primordials and the Gods.
She was Fear itself now. Amongst other things.
And as she felt all of this, Gwen could only look up with a pleased expression, and one thought on her mind.
'...That went a lot better than I was expecting'
