In an instant, lights from the talismans flickered chaotically, while thunder roared, fire howled, and ice cracked continuously. Most of the talismans had little effect, but one inconspicuous talisman with a twisted lightning pattern (apparently a failed mutation of the Five Thunder Talisman), as it was about to hit a Bone Puppet, was deflected by the energy waves emitted by the altar controlled by the Evil Eye, veering off to crash into a rune node at the altar's edge!
"Boom!"
A not-so-loud but exceedingly deep explosion sounded! The rune node abruptly dimmed, and then the light of the entire altar flickered chaotically for a moment! The black vortex housing the Evil Eye also fluctuated violently, as if choking on something.
