In the year 1044, during the once-every-four-years Shield Festival, a powerful evil mage summoned a terrifying dragon lich to attack Anka, trapping countless innocent valley folk who had gathered at the Anka Estate. Knowing the disparity in power, Anka had no choice but to fight to the death, ultimately dragging the evil mage and his dragon lich down with him in the inferno that consumed the Lord's Mansion.
Whether due to some deviation in this process or not, neither the evil mage nor his dragon lich have been seen by the world again, and the Cloak King Anka could not be resurrected.
