The law department, organized by Darnell, the Judgment Chief of the Hammer of the Holy Light Abbey, will reference the laws of Thacel and the Komeer Kingdom, combining some existing customs and traditions of the Valley, to draft their own Battle Valley legislative bill.
This is also one of the main reasons for the friction and differences existing between the various Valley Fields. Although they all form part of the Valley, their political systems are vastly different; neither customs nor laws are the same. Many of the Fields do not even possess their own laws, and Battle Valley is one such example; they resolve differences through ancient traditions.
Many of these ancient traditions, let alone being fair and just, are sometimes absurd and ignorant. Much evil has arisen from these ancient traditions (such as the burning of witches), leading to frenzied and bloody revenges against the villagers of the past.
