The new attackers constantly jumping out from the accumulated feathers, all coincidentally flapped the strange things growing on them, creating a flurry of feathers while they themselves glided through the air.
But that's about it. Even though their bodies were as withered as twigs, the fin-shaped wings still didn't quite fit the aerodynamics, and after a brief sustain, they landed again, stirring more feathers.
A few more agile ones used their hands and feet, clinging onto the pillars and walls.
A glance revealed a bustling scene.
They did indeed come running out of the "Amber." Judging from the form of their bodies alone, it's apparent they're still quite similar to the first two attackers.
Webbed hands and feet, fish-like gill slits, and even several fins protruding from their bodies.
If there's a difference to point out, it might be that the extent of mutation seems deeper.
