Chapter 63 - The Voice

Ae-Ri, Minsu, and Do-hari all watched as I stood out on the balcony of the house in the night, the three of them glancing at each other with confused expressions. Do-hari closed her cardigan and walked outside into the cool breeze, standing next to me and looked up at me. She saw that my eyes were closed, her confusion rising as she waved her hand in my face.

"Yes?" I asked, opening my eyes and looking over at Do-hari with a raised brow, leaning forward against the balcony rails.

"Geez...it's not like you're staring off into space with your eyes closed or anything. What are you doing up in the middle of the night?" Do-hari asked, crossing her arms and meeting my gaze with curiosity.

"I'm...how do I put this. I'm trying to reach out to someone, spiritually...but I'm not like Yesha with this ability, nor have I ever used it," I said, letting out a soft sigh and looked back out in the open. "Her name is Min Woo-Chi, a girl who was put on probation for an incident at Grushia High School."

"Oh yeah, I've heard about that. So, you're trying to reach your Spirit out to her right?" Do-hari asked, looking out into the distance as well and hummed softly. "Why not...just go to her home?"

"Yeah, a total stranger popping up out of nowhere at her front door to confront her about her trauma? That'll really get her to talk," I said with high sarcasm, rolling my eyes then smirked lightly as she lightly shoved me to the side.

"Gwichana!! Aiishhh! I don't even know why I even bothered with you. Tch! Anyway, dinner is ready if you're hungry, Mr. Salvation," Do-hari said with an exaggerated huff, turning around dramatically and walking back inside the house.

I rolled my eyes at her and chuckled lightly then stood up straight once again, exhaling softly and closing my eyes once again to try to connect with Woo-Chi once more Spiritually. Doing what I could, I sent one of my Sovereign Butterflies toward Woo-Chi's home, the butterfly flying off into the distance.

My butterfly fluttered in the air like a soft star floating within the sky, its wings releasing tiny sparkles into the air and leaving behind a trail. Swooping through the busy streets and the public flora, my butterfly made it to 4253 Do-Do Lane, hovering outside of Woo-Chi's window.

Inside, a young woman with short black hair sat on the floor in front of a laptop, the only light in the room being her screen. She had a blue blanket wrapped around her body, her fingers ferociously working the keys of the laptop as she checked the social medias of her old classmates.

The young woman stared at the screen with wide, tired eyes, biting on her thumbnail as she scrolled down her feed. She saw a post with Sun-mi, In Mi-yong, and Hyeon Bae, her eyes glistening as she saw Hyeon Bae. She began typing a comment on Sun-mi's post, but hesitated and decided to delete the comment.

The young woman glanced down at her lap, looking at her phone and turning on the screen to see no messages nor notifications on it. "Do any of you even still care..? I was the one hurt...so why am I still on leave..?"

Suddenly, a knock sounded on the door, the voice of an older male coming from the other side of the door. "Woo-Chi? Are you still awake? Are you hungry? I brought you something to eat.."

"Go away," Woo-Chi replied immediately, covering herself with her blanket and closed her eyes.

I watched through the eyes of my Sovereign Butterfly, looking through the other window and seeing her older brother set down her food at the door. Once he left from the door completely, Woo-Chi quickly got up from her spot and crawled to the door, cracking it open then snatching her food inside her room and sitting down with her back against the door.

Woo-Chi ate her meal alone in the darkness, looking out the window and noticed my butterfly fluttering outside the window. She took a sip of her soda then set the can down beside her, standing up on her feet and slowly walked toward the window.

She leaned against the windowsill, staring at my Sovereign Butterfly, admiring its beauty and sighed softly. "What are you doing here, little guy..? Are you lost..?"

My Butterfly sparkled in response to her question, fluttering from side to side with animated movements. Woo-Chi watched my butterfly and smiled softly, letting out a soft chuckle and rested her chin against her arms as she watched my butterfly float around.

"You're an interesting one... I used to have a friend who was just as happy as you were. I don't know if she still thinks about me... I still feel bad for what happened a while ago between me and her. I wish...I wish I didn't go crazy..." Woo-Chi said softly, lowering her head and sniffling softly.

"I prayed over and over again for help, yet...it felt like God had abandoned me. And now this...for two years I've sat in my own shame. Still no answer...still no sign..." Woo-Chi continued, sniffling softly and began to cry softly against her arms.

I never left you...

I was always here, Woo-Chi...

Woo-Chi looked up slowly after hearing my voice, looking out the window and noticing a second reflection upon the window then quickly turned around. Her heart stopped for a moment as she noticed my light blue silhouette sitting upon her bed, a warm smile forming on my face.

Woo-Chi took a moment to process what she was seeing, slowly walking over toward me then swiped her hand at me, her entire hand phasing through my body. "Wh-Who are you..?"

I chuckled softly at her question and crossed one leg over the other then pat the space on the bed next to me. "I am Ascea...The Nexus. Come sit with me..."

Woo-Chi was hesitant, her mind still not processing seeing me before her in Spirit, but still sat down next to me. "Ascea..? As in...the Son of Yuvah, Ascea? The Perfect Incarnation of Yesha?"

"Right here, in this very moment... How are you feeling?" I asked, already knowing the answer but wanting her to tell me herself.

"Terrible...where were you two years ago when I was getting mercilessly bullied? An All-knowing, endlessly loving God allowing His children to suffer like this? You say you are here for everyone, but miraculously forget me?" Woo-Chi asked, her gaze remaining at the ground with a sour attitude and her arms crossed.

"I never forgot about you...I heard all of your cries, but your messages never reached the one I had sent to help you, Mistress Kaguya," I answered, taking deep breath and exhaling slowly, looking ahead at the laptop. "The enemy loves to attack who they are truly afraid of...and they may have won the battle but they have not yet won the war."

"You say that because you're God...you can just smite your enemies into oblivion while I'm just a Human, a Valkyria with nothing..." Woo-Chi retorted, rolling her eyes at me and turning her full body away from me.

"You have everything you need...you nearly sending that comment earlier proves it. The Holy Spirit still lives within you, you never lost anything...you just couldn't enjoy my gift," I replied, turning my head to look at Woo-Chi.

Woo-Chi let out a heavy sigh, her ears filled with bricks as her loathe for her current circumstances outweighed the hope that lived within her. She remained silent, not replying back in hopes of getting me to leave her room.

I stared at Woo-Chi then smiled at her, standing up from the bed then warped in front of her, sitting in the air in crisscross position. "Hey."

Woo-Chi looked up at me with a sigh, her face filled with annoyance. "What? Why are you still here? Can't you see that I'm ignoring you?"

"I can clearly see that, but you can try to close that door all you want, only I hold that power to close the door no man can open. The moment you believed in the Gospel, you fell right into my hand and no matter how much the enemy tries to snatch you," I began then planted my feet on the ground then crouched down below her level.

"No one can snatch you out of my hand. You are a daughter of God's now, one of my own flock. I will not try to make you go back, instead I'll meet you where you're at," I finished, humming lightly and giving Woo-Chi a warm smile.

Woo-Chi licked her teeth and tried to swipe my hand off her shoulder, her hand phasing through my body once again. She let out a frustrated groan and shot up on her feet. "Leave...You abandoned me and nothing will make me change my mind..!"

I watched as Woo-Chi got into her bed and covered her entire body with her covers, her attempt at hiding away from me. I let out a soft chuckle and vanished out of her room, yet my Sovereign Butterfly remained inside, propping itself on her desk.

Opening my eyes once more, I grunted softly as I blinked a few times and placed my hand upon my chest. Feeling the flame of my Holy Fire, I knew that my Divine Projection had worked but then realized I lost one of my Sovereign Butterflies to stay with Woo-Chi.

"Alright...a worthy sacrifice. I can always substitute my Dove for my butterflies. Okay, now we just play the waiting game," I said with a light hum, making my way inside to spend the rest of my night with the Bong Clan.

The night carried on with the city of Seolhart finally settling in for the day, the street lights all coming on and the night patrol spreading through the streets. The next day began to slowly arrive, the sun rising beyond the horizon to signal the new dawn.

The sunlight began to peer through Woo-Chi's window, a ray of light hitting straight onto her bed and stirring her awake. She let out a soft groan, sitting up on her bed and throwing the covers off her body then stretched with a soft yawn. She turned over to her desk to grab her phone, noticing me and letting out a scream of terror.

I looked up from reading The Chronicles, giving her a light wave and smile. "Joeun achimieyo."

"Oh don't 'Joeun achimieyo' me! How are you here in my room!? I thought you left!" Woo-Chi exclaimed, holding her hand at her chest and groaned softly as she got out of bed.

"What part of 'I never left you' did you not understand? I'm always with you, you literally have my Spirit within you. I sit at the throne of your heart," I said, pointing at Woo-Chi with a smile and leaned back in her seat. "Did you sleep well?"

"I suppose... I guess you're now trying to make up for lost time by being here in Spirit? You're such...an amazing Father," Woo-Chi said with sarcasm, rummaging through her drawers for new clothes to wear.

"Setting aside you casual disrespect in my face, what do you have planned for today? Hopefully, leaving this room is one of them? You have to shower," I said, watching her turn around and closed my book then turned it into light blue energy particles.

"Oh, you're funny huh?" Woo-Chi scoffed, rolling her eyes at me then walked off, leaving her room to go into the bathroom.

Remember...

You're Ascea...

Not Nox...

I heard Genesis's voice and let out a soft chuckle, closing my eyes at her soft correction. 'I have to meet her half way, and I have to steer her path straight one stone at a time. You get a little sparky with Luciel sometimes...'

That's different and you know it...

Just remember to be gentle with her...

Firm, but gentle...

I nodded and smiled softly at Genesis's immediate reply then stood up from Woo-Chi's chair then warped into the living room to wait for her to come out. As I waited, I began to notice the house was empty so I wondered what Woo-Chi did throughout the day.

Woo-Chi finally got out of the bathroom, drying her hair with a large towel and looked into the living room. Her mood soured as she noticed me in the kitchen making her breakfast. "Hey, what the heck are you still doing here? Geez, are you incapable of listening to someone?"

I chuckled softly at her question and placed the last waffle upon the plate then turned the waffle maker off. I turned around to face Woo-Chi, setting the plate of waffles upon the counter. "Since you're here alone, I thought I'd keep you company. Come join me for some breakfast."

Woo-Chi sighed softly and walked into her room then slammed the door shut, tossing her towel on the back of her chair then sat down in her seat. She looked out the window, noticing my Dove sitting outside her windowsill then stood up and walked toward it.

"What..? Are you another one of his little Helpers? Aishh...what's with you? Clinging to me all of a sudden? You should be out there with the so called righteous ones, not here looking after me," Woo-Chi said softly, staring into the eyes of my Dove.

"I am not here for those who call themselves the most righteous or the most zealous. I am here for the brokenhearted, for those who know they are sinners, grievers, and broken. Woo-Chi, I am still your Shepherd the moment you believed..." I said from behind the door, leaning against the wall and crossing my arms.

"And where did that belief get me? They told me once I believed in you that my life would start looking better, but instead you made it worse!" Woo-Chi yelled at me, gripping her hair and stomping on the ground.

"And what does The Chronicles say? What does The Word tell you? Your problems doesn't just magically go away because of your faith. When you gained the Holy Spirit, you gained the Spirit of Peace, Joy, Positivity, the Spirit of Light," I countered, keeping my tone firm yet gentle.

"You were given the Spirit to overcome, to find Peace in Me, in God in the midst of your troubles. I didn't make anything worse, but the world failed you when you needed the help most. Blinded you from what truly mattered. Your works do not matter at the end of the day, my works do and it is not your job to finish the work I started," I continued, taking a pause to listen for Woo-Chi.

Woo-Chi stayed silent for a moment, my words hitting her soul deep and causing her eyes to water. She bit her lip hard and closed her eyes tightly, her tears streaming down her cheeks, a huge lump in her throat preventing her from speaking.

"You don't have to strive anymore, just rest in the finished works of Yesha, my Father, and I. The war has already been won more than once, it is finished. And it will remain finished... The world can preach any false gospel they desire, but realize that my Grace saved you...not your works, your human efforts, nor your own understanding of me," I said, watching the door swing open and noticing Woo-Chi standing before me with tears streaming down her face.

Before I could get another word out, Woo-Chi rushed toward me like a child to hug me. To my amazement, she was actually able to touch me, her arms wrapping around my waist and her head gently resting against my bosom. I smiled down at her, placing a gentle hand upon her head and let out a soft exhale.

-------------------------

After a moment of reprieve, Woo-Chi decided to join me at the dining table for breakfast, the two of us making small talk with each other and Woo-Chi rapid firing questions at me. I answered each question honestly, a few questions answered more than once.

"Wait...so you are Ascea and you share Yesha's Spirit, making you the True Messiah...and the actual Son of Yuvah...but you aren't Yesha? Mwo? How does that make any sense?" Woo-Chi asked, placing a piece of waffle in her mouth as she stared at me in complete confusion.

"This is a case of Incarnation vs Reincarnation. I am the true Incarnation of Ascea, the Spirit that descended after Yesha ascended to Heaven. I am Yesha's Incarnation, making me...like Him and not Him at the same time," I began, crossing my arms and tilted my head to the side.

"Meanwhile, a figure like August Eyica is his Reincarnation, a Living Aspect of The Nexus. Basically, a Forerunner for me, the actual Nexus, Noxius Ascea Exzodia," I finished, nodding my head as it made the most sense to me.

Woo-Chi stared at me with a lost expression, shaking her head slowly as she still wasn't catching on. "Nope, not ringing a bell...Like I know who Yesha is, and Ascea and August...but who is Nox?"

Ouch...

She hasn't seen the news at all?

I inhaled slowly at Genesis's comment then exhaled gently through my nose, snapping my fingers and summoning her laptop in front of her. Woo-Chi jolted back in surprise by her laptop just appearing in front of her, her eyes carefully watching me type on the keyboard to pull up previous articles about myself.

Clicking on a video, I turned the laptop toward her then pressed the spacebar to play a clip from the broadcast from St. Meishi Academy. "Here, that's who I am.."

Woo-Chi glanced at me then watched the clip of me battling the Herisee Students of St. Meishi in my Dark Lord Form. She watched every warp, phase, and black chain fire from me, her glance shifting between me sitting next to her at the end of the table and her laptop.

"Prince of Peace huh? Didn't look that damn peaceful to me, looked like you and your crew were out there taking names! What was the reason for it?" Woo-Chi asked, scratching the side of her head in slight confusion.

"It was Judgement Day for them, and while my Father would normally send an Angel to deal with them...We are in the Book of Prophecy, and while I am not riding down from the clouds in a white horse just yet...I will carry out the Final Judgement and Final Lament on foot just as Yesha spread my Father's Grace on foot," I answered, nodding my head and leaning back in my seat.

"However, not before giving all nations one last chance at turning back to God. In this stage of Prophecy, I am doing Course Correction for those who have strayed away from the main path...then it's the Final Acts and finally, Revelation," I finished, glancing over at Woo-Chi, noticing her nodding her head slowly with little understanding.

"Right..." Woo-Chi said, placing another piece of waffle in her mouth.

After our long conversation, I decided to take the plates after a great breakfast to clean them off, Woo-Chi sitting at the table and just watching me. In her mind, she couldn't process why the Messiah would be doing housework for her instead of her doing them.

As the time passed, I lingered around Woo-Chi, watching her scroll through her social media and looking at different posts of her old classmates at the start of the school day. As I watched her, I crossed my arms and crossed my arms going to Genesis and Yuvah for what I should do.

"Y'know...I do miss my school, but...it's just her. Kan Ha-Rin, she's the reason I can't...no that I won't go back, but if only I had an opportunity to finally tell her everything...tell her about who she actually is," Woo-Chi said, her mouse lingering upon Ha-Rin's face upon the screen.

"Then you stranded off and encountered Covet.." I said, looking down at Woo-Chi and watched as she slouched in her seat.

"Yeah...and I could've used your help then. Ever since meeting him... everything went downhill. I just wanted to use my power for good, but everyday in that place...it felt like walking on eggshells, Hell on Earth," Woo-Chi said softly, exhaling softly and continuing to scroll down on her feed.

"Maybe try getting your mind off this and try doing something else?" I suggested, turning around to look at her front door.

"Like what? I have no friends to hang out with and my brother is at work. This is all I have to do," Woo-Chi replied, letting out a loud sigh then sat up in her seat as she heard her doorbell ring.

Woo-Chi quickly turned around and noticing I was gone, her heart starting to race as she glanced around the house quickly for me. The doorbell rang again, causing her to look at the door once more before getting up and walking toward it. Peeking through the peephole, she gasped loudly as she noticed me in the flesh at her front door.

"C'mon, Nox...what's with the change of heart? Just yesterday...not even, LAST NIGHT, You said you wasn't going to randomly appear at her front door, but now...you're here?" Do-hari asked with high judgement, her voice being heard from behind the door.

"What happened to you being the same Past, Present, and Future? You changed your mind rather quickly. Tah! Leave it to the Messiah to drag his damsel to a strangers house," Do-hari continued, her arm still wrapped around mine despite her complaints.

"Now that you're finished, I can say we are here because my Father told me to visit here. I know you're only like this because it's early for you, but focus," I said, looking over at Do-hari with a soft smile.

"C'mon...it's 8:23 AM, we even arrived here at a random time. Can't you show your damsel some grace and left her at home to sleep..?" Do-hari whined softly, letting out a soft sigh.

Woo-Chi couldn't believe what she was hearing and gripped her hair with confusion. She couldn't even process a Messiah with a partner, let alone showing up at her house physically after being with her Spiritually. She quickly stood up on her feet, thinking about what she should do next.

"Don't open the door...yes, that is a random man and woman at your door. Javonah's Witnesses, that's it...Just ignore them," Woo-Chi said, preparing to walk away from the door but her Spirit said to open the door. "C'mon...please don't make me do this..."

Woo-Chi let out a soft exhale through her nose then turned around toward the door, balling her hands into fists then grabbed the handle. Slowly turning the knob, she cracked the door open and glanced up at me and Do-hari.

"Annyeong!" I greeted with a respectful wave, freezing in place as Woo-Chi slammed the door in my face. "Well then..."

"Even you said literally last night, this plan would not work. You just proved yourself right and for what? The love of the game? We know God is all knowing..." Do-hari sighed, glancing at me with a judging side eye.

"Why are you here?! How did you even find out where I lived?!" Woo-Chi screamed, her loud muffled voice blaring from behind the door.

"Class 12-A gained a new teacher, who happens to be someone very close to me. She found out about who you were and sent me to help you. You've met Ascea right? Well I am also He," I answered, patiently waiting outside with Do-hari for Woo-Chi to open the door.

Slowly, the door cracked open once again, a shy and nervous Woo-Chi peeking through the opening at us once more. "Class...12-A? You know... them? They have a new teacher..?"

Those words echoed in her head and she rushed over to the dining table, leaving the door open for us to enter inside the home. Do-hari glanced over at me, wondering why Woo-Chi suddenly had a burst of energy from my news. The two of us entered her house, taking our shoes off at the front before stepping foot into the living room.

I walked over to the dining room table and leaned against Woo-Chi's chair, noticing her surprised face when she noticed a picture of Luciel and Su-Yun walking into the high school on Kim Eun's ValkyGram page. "Well? What are your next steps?"

"I won't go back...not even if I see them there. I won't go back until I know I can get my hands upon Ha-Rin for certain. However..." Woo-Chi began, deeply staring at her screen at Luciel, feeling extremely drawn to her. "I do want to know who she is."

I looked at the post on the screen as well, noticing her eyes gazing upon Luciel with reverence. "Her name is Luciel Winters, the teacher for Class 12-A. If you want to know more about her without meeting her...just read The Chronicles. She is The Bride, Wisdom, and my Spiritual Wife."

Do-hari stood beside me and stared at the picture of Luciel and Su-Yun, not seeing Lee Su-Yun, but Sa Nu Rim. She stayed silent, but her Spirit was too surprised to see that she was still alive after her death against Prince Zephyr.

"If you want your friends to know you're still alive, maybe actually leave a comment on their post. They are very active it seems...if you scroll down once, Hyeon Bae's post will show up. Send a message," I encouraged, watching as Woo-Chi began to scroll down.

Woo-Chi stared at the post of Hyeon Bae with Jiahn Wa and Sang So-Yi, the three of them taking a start of school picture together. Woo-Chi's heart began to ache as she began wishing she was at school with her friends, her fingers hesitantly typing in a comment on Hyeon Bae's post.

As she began to delete her comment out of fear of being seen again, my suggestion echoed in her head and stopped her from deleting the comment for a comment. Before she knew it, her Spirit began to move for her and pressed the Enter button, causing her message to send in the comment section.

Woo-Chi gasped and stood up quickly from her seat, her hands quickly finding their way on the top of her head, her fingers gripping her hair. "Mwo?! Whoa! Whoa whoa whoa!"

In a panic, she hurriedly left to run off to her room and jumped into her bed, hiding under the covers. I chuckled softly at her and glanced over at Do-hari then looked back at the laptop screen. At the bottom right of Woo-Chi's comment was an icon of Hyeon Bae's like, showing she saw and liked the comment.

〘HyeonBaebe78: @WooChixHeaven I miss you too, I'm glad to see that you're okay! (@^^)/~~~〙

Sang So-Yi sat on top of a desk on the roof top of Grushia High School, looking over at Hyeon Bae and noticed her smiling at her phone then glanced over. "What are you looking at?"

Hyeon Bae glanced up at So-Yi then showed her Woo-Chi's comment on her phone, giving Sang So-Yi her phone. "She's still alive! She just commented on my post!"

"What?! Woo-Chi is still alive?!" Jiahn asked in disbelief, hurrying toward the desk with So-Yi and Hyeon Bae, glancing at the screen then gasped at the comment. "After two years...she's back with us."

Sang So-Yi's right eye began to flash a light blue, her Silver Swallowtail fluttering in front of her as if to speak to her. "This is actually the first step in winning the war against Ha-Rin and Go-Goken. They thought they had killed her faith, but this comment proves that her faith never died."

"Speaking about faith, are you ever going to tell us where you got such a rare butterfly from? A Swallowtail is already a rare butterfly to come around, but a Silver Swallowtail? It's like God came down while you were missing and blessed you," Jiahn said, leaning against the desk and looking up at Sang So-Yi with a curious smile.

'The irony...' Sang So-Yi said mentally, handing Hyeon Bae's phone back to her then got off the desk.

"It's a very long story that we can get into sometime down the line... when you two obtain your Butterflies. When you receive one, you'll understand how I received mine. For now, us three, we need allies on our side," Sang So-Yi began looking between Jiahn and Hyeon Bae for ideas.

"Like...recruit allies on our side against Ha-Rin and her clique? Like who? We are the bottom barrel group, and you and Hyeon Bae are now the only two F Ranks in the class," Jiahn questioned, standing up straight and crossing her arms with confliction then rose an eyebrow.

Sang So-Yi waved her phone in front of Hyeon Bae and Jiahn, smirking at them and letting out a soft hum. "The Overseer wants us to play the game? We play their game, but remember how Ko'rai, Ahmed, and Reene are High Ranks without having Lust? We do the same and recruit lower Ranks like the D Ranks."

"Ahh...so like we have to level up? Well good luck, my Charisma is a D+...doesn't help I get into a lot of fights with Kim Eun and her gang," Jiahn said, rubbing the back of her neck with a soft exhale.

"And me and Sang So-Yi are unranked in anything so...we couldn't do anything too spectacular, but I do have two people in mind," Hyeon Bae said, glancing at So-Yi and Jiahn with a smile. "Pyo Yu-Ni, and Song Jae-in!"

Both Sang So-Yi and Jiahn groaned softly at the suggestion, Hyeon Bae raising her hands in confusion on why they were groaning. Pyo Yu-Ni had zero to no backbone and would fall apart if you spoke badly about her shoes, and Song Jae-in was a certified pervert of Class 12-A...however against their odd, a Pacifist and Pervert was better than nothing.

--------------------------

Luciel and Su-Yun walked down the halls together heading toward Class 12-A to start the morning, the two of them discussing their plans for the day after the new Ranks had come out. Down the hall with his back against the wall, his head low as he looked at his watch, a Professor from Class 12-B stood outside his door.

The Professor glanced up and smiled at Luciel and Su-Yun, getting off the walls then walked toward the two with a friendly posture. "Hello, Ms. Winters and Sa Nu Rim. My name is Ray Ubel, a Guidance Councilor for the school and Professor of Class 12-B."

Luciel looked at Ray and studied his appearance, her gaze analyzing his turquoise eyes and light brown slick back hair. She held her binder closer to her chest, giving him a courteous smile and bow. "Good morning, Mr. Ubel. It's nice to meet you and thank you for introducing yourself. After the craziness of yesterday, it's nice to see another friendly face other than Song Boon and Kaguya."

"Yeah craziness...I barely made it out of bed yesterday. Pretty sure I slept like I was in hibernation," Su-Yun said with a light yawn, glancing down at her phone to see a text from her parents reminding her to keep a look out for Sa Nu Rim at her job.

She let out a light sigh and turned off her phone screen. 'And one piece of craziness I can't seem to wake up from...trust me Eomma, I'm keeping a real close eye on Sa Nu Rim...'

Luciel giggled softly at the text from Su-Yun's mom then looked back up at Ray, tilting her head slightly as she noticed his badge read Eight Stars instead of a letter Rank. "Eight Stars? Is that the ranking for Heroes?"

Ray glanced down at his badge and held it in his hand, letting out a soft chuckle. "Oh this? Yes, Heroes are ranked different from our female counterpart. We are ranked on Stars and basically anything higher than Seven Stars is considered S Rank."

"That's confusing...why are they ranking men off the same metrics they use for Monsters?" Su-Yun asked, tapping her chin with her finger as she began to entertain the curious thought in her head.

Suddenly, the first bell rang for the first class to begin with Luciel giving Ray another bow before dragging Su-Yun with her. Ray gave both women a wave and smiled at them, walking into his class to get the day started on his end.

So-Yi walked between Hyeon Bae and Jiahn, discussing their plans together for recruiting students on their side. "Alright... remember the plan. Since Hyeon Bae and I have basically nonexistent stats, we have to rely on Jiahn to be our lynchpin. But with Jiahn's nonexistent charisma, we have to walk in blind faith."

"That makes it sound like we have no plan...even after all that planning on who to recruit outside of Yu-Ni and Jae-in?" Hyeon Bae asked, letting out a soft sigh and looked up at the roof. "If only I could control my Delirum at will like Reene..."

"By lunch time, we should have some form of plan. I'm literally not much help, I've been living in a house in the middle of a cornfield basically my entire life. I only know militant talk and how to take names," Jiahn said with a smirk, smacking his fist against her palm.

"Yeah, we can see why you have a Grade D in Charisma," So-Yi said, letting out a sigh with Hyeon Bae snickering in the back and her hand covering her mouth.

Jiahn ignored So-Yi's comment and walked into class, acting as if she hadn't said anything past her previous statement. "I agree we should have faith.."

So-Yi rolled her eyes, her lips cracking a small smirk and momentarily breaking her stoic demeanor. She walked into the classroom with Hyeon Bae, noticing Luciel and Su-Yun were already here, so Kim Eun and her friends had no chance of bullying anyone. The two noticed another Lesson being projected on the board, this one being a lesson of Kindness.
