Dora's mind churned rapidly. She always had a plan and would never let Cecilia disrupt it. She said, "Let me think about it, I'll call you again."
"Hello, hello, hello..." Cecilia called out several times, but the other end had already hung up, leaving her fuming.
Dora had always been difficult to control. If she hadn't been imprisoned back then, or had a past affair with her, she probably wouldn't have been used by her. She frowned, her mind full of thoughts on how to dismantle the alliance between Catherine and Wei Anning.
Wei Anning was admiring the flowers when a shadow loomed over her head. She looked up to see William standing next to her, holding the bird's nest, and giving it a strong push, making it swing.
She gripped the handle, but the bird's nest wouldn't stop. She looked at William and said, "Stop it, don't push it anymore."
William was in high spirits, "I thought all women liked swinging. Enjoy it."
