Xiao Yu took a cab to a relatively secluded big pharmacy, secretly bought a test strip, and then slipped into a public restroom in a shopping mall. She sat on the toilet, looking at the test strip in her hand, only to realize that her palms were sweaty from nervousness.
She closed her eyes, praying to the heavens not to be so cruel to her. She didn't want to be pregnant, didn't want to suddenly become an unwed mother.
After a while, she mustered the courage to open the test strip package. Between her recent symptoms and the delay in her period, she knew that if it wasn't due to stress causing the delay, then there was a nine out of ten chance she was pregnant.
Even so, she still hoped she wasn't pregnant, otherwise, there would be no future with Gong Ting.
Five minutes later, when Xiao Yu saw the two lines on the test strip, she kept comparing it with the instructions. Her eyes widened, and her breathing became rapid, "Impossible, this can't be!"
