Chapter 66 - Reveal of Fifth round

At dawn, Dransart (in Kannan's guise) walked steadily toward the competition venue. At the checking area, the guard sneered, "You are not qualified for the fifth round."

Kannan replied firmly, "I am the 250th qualified participant."

The guard thought bitterly, He knows his position, but he is a fake god. He continued blocking him until Olivia stepped forward. "He is indeed qualified." The crowd turned suspicious eyes on her, but the guard relented.

Kannan thanked her. Olivia smirked, "I keep my promises. I insulted you before, but remember—you owe me 100,000 D-coins."

The God Father's Announcement

The God Father addressed the hall. "Today's event is Wing Arts. Participants may even use rear attachments. If you want rear, buy them at the stalls."

Kannan thought cynically, So this is just a way to sell goods under the guise of competition.

The God Father continued, "Each participant will perform one by one, showing style and passion." Then he departed.

The Performances Begin

Kannan and Olivia sat together. He whispered, "You look divine in that dress, like a goddess."

Olivia frowned. "Why say that when I am a goddess?"

Kannan covered smoothly, "We are fake gods, so we appreciate like this." He thought, I escaped exposing my origin.

Olivia eyed him. "This round values beauty and fashion. Why wear black clothes? You have rear but no wings."

Kannan smiled. "You'll understand when you see my performance."

The high holy potential families dazzled the audience with their wing arts. The Petvan brothers soared with glittering wings, dancing in the sky with radiant effects.

Kannan observed carefully. Ace dances left, Tear dances right. Their wing arts are identical.

Olivia's Turn

The judge called Olivia. She performed gracefully, compensating for her lack of wing arts with beauty and charm. The audience was enthralled.

Returning, she asked, "How was my performance?"

Kannan replied warmly, "You danced so well that gods and goddesses alike fell in love with you."

Olivia muttered, "You fool."

Kannan's Turn

The judge called Kannan. Voices rose in mockery. "He wears black—opposite of holy colors. He has no wings, only rear."

Kannan spread his temporary wings, soaring into the sky. He danced with swoops, flips, and dazzling spins. His holy light blinked brilliantly as he shifted between Hero Class and Witch King Class, his black garments glowing and darkening in rhythm.

The audience gasped, eyes locked on him.

The Petvan family and Olivia were stunned. "Where did those wings come from? They vanish instantly, yet he sustains them."

The Secret of the Performance

Kannan thought, In middle school, I played with kites. I don't know when my wings will disappear, so I wear this black dress for impact. But I cannot tie strings myself—so I used Swift Sword as rear to control my wings like a kite.

His ingenuity turned weakness into spectacle, leaving the venue in awe.

Thus, Kannan completes the Dance of Wings round.

By disguising his temporary wings and using Swift Sword as a hidden tether, he transforms fragility into brilliance. The Petvan family's dominance is shaken, Olivia is bewildered, and the gods whisper of the Zevan family's unexpected rise.
