Chapter 28 - 28

Deep within the forests of the divine continent, a demon monkey beast was about to attain it's spiritual wisdom. The monkey, a cliff dwelling troop monkey was a normal demon beast just a few months ago. And he would've been so till it's death, had it not found a treasure that fell from the heavens. Literally.

It was minding it's own business, eating fleas, picking fruits, flinging poop, when a piece of rock fell right on top of it's head. Thankfully he was a well built, ten foot tall, thick skinned beast. So he came out of it with a light scratch.

His first instinct was to smash the projectile to pieces, and then maybe fling some poop at it. But the moment it's fingers came to contact with it, his blood began to boil. And the beast no matter it's intelligence, knew what it meant. Bloodline evolution.

And so the beast spent it's entire time there. Guarding the piece of stone for months. Hiding it from the others of his tribe till now. It let it's soulforce flow into the stone unconsciously,  and the soulforce was sent back into it's body after passing through it. His soulforce began to build a bloodline based on the intent contained in the stone even though the beast had no idea . Only thing it felt was power. Growth. Energy flowed into its miniscule upper core, building a semblance of spiritual wisdom. Granting it powers it had never known.

It began to grow mentally, and emotions emerged. It was the alpha. HE, would be the boss of his tribe, not Kaa, he will break it, yeeesss.. it gained arrogance. He was going to beat Kaa, then take Kichi(a girl monkey in it's tribe)  to himself. Then maybe throw poop at humans! Where did that come from?

'Shlick!'

Sadly it never figured out where its hate for humans came from, because the moment its bloodline was about to evolve,  its head disappeared completely. Blood sprayed around, painting the ground with scarlet, pooling under a pair of clawed feet.

"Tch, DAMN WASTE" a foot kicked the now dead body to a distance before it picked up the stone tablet.

"Damn monkey almost used up the divine stone." Then taking out more stone tablets, it placed them next to each other before channeling soul force into them. The stones glowed in a shade of white for a few moments before the shade turned bloody red.

"HAAAAAAAHHH!"

The red energy flowed back into the hands that held them, electing a loud, throaty shout that lasted a couple of seconds. Then a shadowy figure stepped foreward.

"Finally! After searching for months, I finally have the complete inheritance! The ultimate power is MINE. This world will be under my rule !"

But it's monologue was suddenly cut short. "Wait! Something's missing". It began rearranging the stone tablets again and again, pouring soul force in a desperate manner. But it seemed to not be working.

"NO NO NOOOO!" The  mountain began shaking as the silhouette began slamming it's hands against the earth, flaring it's power making any animal at vicinity to fled in fear. When suddenly, it stopped.

The aura that rampaged wildly, flared once more. This time in a calm manner. Bending to a particular direction.

"Found you!"

The  silhouette glanced at that direction before dashing at speeds beyond what naked eye could comprehend. Following it's energy to find the missing piece of a secret art, not fully aware what laid at store for it in the distant future.
