A few minutes had gone by, and Xu Feng finally managed to persuade Carmen to take a bite out of the food he had cooked.
"I swear, I won't request her assistance anymore." Xu Feng raised three fingers up and swore.
"Why don't I believe you?" Carmen rolled her eyes at his so-called promise.
"Men's words can never be trusted, especially when they come from the mouth of a cunning four-eyed." She hissed. She had given this man too much face previously. She refused to forgive him this easily.
