Chapter 713 - Chapter 714: The Three Factions Converge

Chapter 714: The Three Factions Converge

In less than half a day, Xiao Ze and Spirit Eye King crossed a vast mountain range, arriving at a desolate stretch of blackened ground.

Surrounded by towering peaks, this barren area seemed unnaturally erased, as though some immense power had wiped it clean from existence.

Xiao Ze's gaze lingered on the scorched land. His expression turned contemplative. This destruction… it appeared to be the result of fire.

Given Xiao Ze's deep expertise in manipulating flames, he was no stranger to the various kinds of devastation fire could cause.

The surrounding mountain range, composed entirely of a unique, frost like iron, was a natural marvel. Even the intense spiritual storms of the Fallen Battlefield couldn't destroy these black peaks.

Yet now, a large swath of the land had been utterly obliterated by some extraordinary flame.

As Xiao Ze pondered the destruction, the air ahead shimmered and twisted. Three figures emerged from the disturbance.

The one at the forefront was a petite woman in a black dress, her expression composed and calm, as though nothing in the world could faze her. It was Mandala, flanked by Slumber King and Sky Vulture King.

Xiao Ze and Spirit Eye King quickly stepped forward to meet them.

"Domain Lord, where exactly is the Earth Sovereign's treasure? I can't sense anything unusual," Spirit Eye King asked, his eyes gleaming as he scanned the area.

Xiao Ze, however, was fixated on the barren black ground. He spoke thoughtfully, "To cause such destruction… it must have been an Earth Sovereign wielding a particularly formidable heavenly flame. Could this be an ancient Earth Sovereign battlefield?"

Mandala nodded in affirmation. "The treasure is indeed well hidden. I wouldn't have noticed it myself if I hadn't been hunting a wraith nearby."

A rare smile appeared on Mandala's face as she spoke. It seemed that aiding Xiao Ze in his hunt for wraiths had led to this unexpected discovery.

Raising a delicate hand, Mandala pointed toward the ground and pressed her palm downward.

The air trembled as spiritual energy surged forth, condensing into a massive spiritual mountain that slammed into the blackened ground below.

This was the unique ability of Earth Sovereigns crystallized spiritual energy.

For an Earth Sovereign, condensing spiritual energy into a crystalline form was as effortless as breathing. These crystallized forms possessed durability and power rivaling divine artifacts.

Thus, most Earth Sovereigns regarded ordinary artifacts as trivial, their strength far surpassing such mundane tools.

A deep hum resonated through the air as the impact pulverized the frost like iron, revealing ancient runes etched into the earth below.

"Only an Earth Sovereign's treasure would be guarded by such markings," Mandala remarked, her voice tinged with excitement.

The treasure of an Earth Sovereign, long concealed by the natural formations of the Fallen Battlefield, was now within reach.

Fortunately, the unique properties of Fallen Source Pills produced in this battlefield offered a way to break through the protective seals.

Mandala added, "Now that we've confirmed the location, it's up to the kings and their armies to play their part."

Even Mandala, despite her usual composure, showed a hint of exhilaration. The treasure's contents likely included Spiritual Divine Liquid, a priceless resource even to Earth Sovereigns.

"Should we shield this area to prevent other factions from finding it?" Sky Vulture King asked.

Mandala shook her head. "That would be futile. I've already done some preliminary investigation, and the treasure is likely buried beneath this expansive black mountain range."

She continued, "This mountain range spans tens of thousands of miles. There are likely multiple entrances to the treasure. Guarding just one won't ensure exclusivity."

Spirit Eye King sighed in resignation. Even if they deployed all of the Great Luo Heavenly Domain's forces, they couldn't possibly seal off such a vast area.

"Spirit Eye King, Sky Vulture King," Mandala ordered, "head to the outer regions of the Fallen Battlefield and bring the armies here. We'll need all the Fallen Source Pills we can gather to weaken the treasure's seal."

Both kings exchanged glances, then bowed in acknowledgment. "Understood!"

As the two departed, Mandala gestured with her hand, cloaking herself, Xiao Ze, and Slumber King in a veil of spiritual energy. The trio vanished, leaving the area seemingly undisturbed.

In their hidden space, Xiao Ze sat cross legged, drawing out a vial of Supreme Spirit Liquid. With a gentle breath, he absorbed the liquid's essence, refining its energy to strengthen himself.

Slumber King, noticing Xiao Ze's relentless dedication, sighed inwardly.

"To have such overwhelming talent and still work so tirelessly... it's no wonder he reached Ninth Grade Sovereign in under two months," Slumber King muttered to himself before entering his own meditative state.

Mandala, meanwhile, floated in the void, steadily absorbing and refining spiritual energy with ease.

The Other Factions

As the Great Luo Heavenly Domain moved into action, the black mountain range began to stir with other presences.

In the southwestern region, an elder in a blood red robe scowled, his youthful face twisted with rage.

"Blood Tiger was truly killed by someone… useless fool!" he spat.

Turning to two trembling subordinates, he barked, "You two, head to the outer regions and retrieve the Blood Spirit Sect's armies!"

The subordinates bowed hurriedly and departed, leaving the elder to seethe in fury.

"Whoever killed him… I'll grind them to dust!" he vowed, his eyes glinting with malice.

Elsewhere, in the central region, a man in a vibrant five colored robe stood among a group of followers. His gaze was fixed on the revealed runes below.

"Congratulations, Pavilion Master, on finding the Earth Sovereign's treasure!" one subordinate exclaimed.

The Pavilion Master laughed heartily. "Finally, this trip wasn't for nothing. Beixuan, take some men to fetch our armies immediately. We'll need them before anyone else makes their move."

A man in dark robes bowed deeply before leading two others toward the battlefield's edge.

A Brewing Confrontation

The black mountain range now housed three top tier factions: the Great Luo Heavenly Domain, the Blood Spirit Sect, and the Tianyuan Pavilion.

Though the treasure had been discovered, the battle for its spoils was only just beginning.
