Even the distant combatants, Mandala and the Sky Abyss Pavilion Lord, paused momentarily to glance at the spectacle.
The Pavilion Lord's face twisted in shock, while Mandala allowed herself a faint smile. Wasting no time, she pressed her assault, keeping her opponent firmly pinned.
Back on the battlefield, the Blood Spirit Gate Master staggered backward as if physically struck. His expression twisted with pain, and his sleeve, which had housed the Heaven Devouring Demon Wolf, now lay in tatters.
"Damn it!" he cursed inwardly.
