Chapter 831: Immortal Physique! Saintly Flesh!
Time flows differently in the Sea of Divinity. While a few months passed in the outside world, Xiao Ze had spent over three years cultivating within this sacred space.
At the heart of the Sea, a colossal vortex spanned tens of thousands of miles, drawing in the sea's essence an endless tide of divine blood and energy. Yet, even with the vast resources of the Sea of Divinity pouring in, the vortex seemed insatiable, an unfillable abyss.
Over time, the energy's infusion and Xiao Ze's relentless cultivation transformed the aura within the vortex. The once dominant presence of two supreme beast bloodlines the Nine Colored Heaven Swallowing Python and the Dragon Phoenix had become mere embellishments, eclipsed by the immense power emanating from Xiao Ze himself.
Awe from the Three Beast Sovereigns
Hovering above the Sea of Divinity, the Three Beast Sovereigns watched the evolving vortex with solemn expressions. Though three years had tempered their initial shock, the sheer magnitude of Xiao Ze's progress continued to leave them speechless.
After a long silence, the noblewoman, her voice tinged with awe, finally broke the quiet.
"It's nearing completion... Xiao Ze is attempting to forge an Immortal Physique using the essence of the Sea of Divinity and the unparalleled strength of those two mysterious divine beast bloodlines."
The scholarly man and burly warrior exchanged glances but found themselves at a loss for words. Even within the world of divine beasts, Xiao Ze's achievements were unheard of.
"In just three years..." the scholar murmured with a wry smile, "...he's accomplishing something most would consider impossible. Compared to forging an Immortal Physique, Xiao Ze's rise across three Heavenly Sovereign stages from late Spirit Sovereign to late Immortal Sovereign almost feels trivial."
The warrior opened his mouth to object but faltered as realization struck. Indeed, three stages in three years would be astonishing anywhere in the Great Thousand World, but when placed alongside the creation of a Saintly Flesh, it paled in comparison.
Their thoughts were interrupted as a monumental aura erupted from the vortex. It was a force so vast and sacred that even the Three Beast Sovereigns instinctively bowed their heads in reverence.
This was not the oppressive dominance of the Dragon Phoenix bloodline, which had once compelled them to submit. No, this was something far greater the aura of Saintly Sovereignty, the apex of the Great Thousand World.
Birth of an Immortal Sovereign
A radiant pillar of purple gold light shot up from the Sea of Divinity, splitting the heavens and shaking the realm. Waves towering tens of thousands of feet rose in its wake, trembling under the pressure of this unparalleled energy. The brilliance of the purple gold radiance illuminated every corner of the Sea of Divinity, its might imposing silence upon all creation.
As the light faded, Xiao Ze emerged, transformed.
His tall, regal frame was suffused with a faint purple gold glow, his once fair skin now imbued with an aura of eternity. Even the slightest motion exuded the sensation of indestructibility, as though his very existence defied destruction.
Opening his eyes, two beams of purple gold light shot forth, splitting the Sea of Divinity in two and forming a chasm tens of thousands of feet deep, a gap that lingered long after.
Feeling the overwhelming power surging through his body, Xiao Ze couldn't suppress the joy on his face.
"At last," he murmured, his voice filled with satisfaction, "I've achieved what's necessary to subdue or even slay a Saintly Sovereign."
Before this breakthrough, Xiao Ze had relied on extraordinary means battle formations, divine abilities, and peerless artifacts to threaten Saintly Sovereigns. Yet even then, victory was a long shot, no more than a remote possibility.
Now, however, things had changed. His spiritual energy had ascended three full stages, reaching the late Immortal Sovereign level, and, more importantly, he had forged an Immortal Physique, granting him unparalleled physical strength.
Even against an ordinary Saintly Sovereign, he now felt confident of victory.
Gratitude to the Three Beast Sovereigns
After taking a moment to consolidate his gains, Xiao Ze rose and moved gracefully to where the Three Beast Sovereigns waited. Bowing deeply, he expressed his gratitude.
"I am eternally grateful to the three seniors for granting me this opportunity. Without the Sea of Divinity, I could not have reached these heights."
The three exchanged looks, marveling at how the young man before them had ascended to the pinnacle of the Great Thousand World. A Saintly Sovereign a realm even they had once revered.
The noblewoman smiled warmly. "There's no need for such formalities. While the Sea of Divinity played its role, the results were ultimately due to your own talent and determination. Few, if any, could have achieved what you have in such a short time."
The scholar and the warrior nodded in agreement. Indeed, even if another Heavenly Sovereign were granted access to the Sea, it was doubtful they could replicate Xiao Ze's success. His innate gifts and his two extraordinary bloodlines had made the impossible possible.
A New Proposal
As the group conversed, Xiao Ze hesitated briefly before speaking again.
"Three seniors, I have a suggestion that might allow your strength to endure for far longer. I know of a Soul Nourishing Array that could preserve your powers for thousands of years, provided they remain unused."
"Moreover," he added with a gleam of hope, "I could craft vessels to house your energies. With them, you might even regain physical forms and walk the world once more."
His words stunned the three sovereigns, who exchanged astonished glances. Though they had long resigned themselves to their current existence, Xiao Ze's proposal rekindled a glimmer of possibility.
"Is such a thing truly feasible?" the warrior asked, his deep voice trembling with restrained excitement.
"It will take time," Xiao Ze admitted, "but I believe it can be done. If the seniors are willing, I will make every effort to see it through."
The noblewoman's eyes shone with newfound determination. "If there's even a chance... we're willing to try."
Thus, Xiao Ze's remarkable cultivation journey within the Sea of Divinity concluded, marking the beginning of a new chapter for him and perhaps for the Three Beast Sovereigns as well.
