The two were about to gripe.
Jun Ye, face dark, retorted, "Do you even have the cheek to say that? Are you with me or with her? Seeing me lose—does that make you happy?"
To be fair, the boss did have a point.
Tall Handsome Guy, swinging his cap in an ingratiating manner, said, "Boss, who said I bet on the lady's side? My chips are all on your side."
"Now that sounds better." Jun Ye snorted.
Young Master Yao, however, wasn't going to change his bet so easily and said, "How about this: if you win, I'll clean your toilet. But if she wins, you'll cook me a meal yourself."
Luckily, Young Master Yao didn't add, "If you win, I'll cook you a meal." Just for that, Jun Ye agreed.
