Young Master Feng drove, picked up the leader's wife and the leader's younger sister, and headed straight forward.
Bai Lu and Manman sat together in the back seat, happily chatting away. Women always end up talking about the little trivial things at home. Lately Manman had been fretting again over her pair of little devils at home; she didn't know what got into them, but every day they insisted on learning from Young Master Jiang and washing their own socks.
"They've wasted so much of my soap and water!" Manman was a thrifty little housewife; every penny spent at home was a big deal in her eyes. Kids liking to do chores was a good thing, but if they insisted on washing their socks themselves, that turned a good thing into a bad one.
"All kids are like that." Bai Lu comforted her sister-in-law. "At their age, they're very curious."
