Okay, so it had been about a week. Though it may have been a little bit more or less then that. Which was not as easy for me to tell as I thought it was, since time in the Cardcaptor anime canon timeline. Though it moved as time usually did in the real world. I still wasn't able to properly gauge, just how long it had actually since me and Sakura had passed The Final Judgment. Mind you, this was actually a bit of time ago since that fateful night atop Tokyo Tower. But what I still did not yet realize, was that me and Sakura's adventure, was only just beginning. And with those that we were still do to cross paths with a few more years into the future. This would not only help to compound this being the case. But it would also go to prove that somethings, can be far more powerful then even the strongest form of magic to ever exist. But, more about this quite a bit later on.
And getting back into the swing of things so too speak. Which was Chelsea had revealed to both me and Sakura of a teddy bear kit that she had bought and built from the towns craft store. Sakura had then decided to go and buy one for herself. And, after some convincing from Sakura. Mind you, I sort of did not originally feel like doing it to begin with. I decided to buy myself one as well, even though I did not feel like doing so. A little later on, at the towns craft store, me and Sakura were joined by Eli, who at the time was buying a lot of balls of string. And yet, neither of us thought of this as being even the slightest bit strange. But as it would turn out, my lack of information regarding Eli, would wind up coming back to haunt me and Sakura. And like those who we were still due to cross paths with, this lack of information, would wind up proving to be a curse in and of itself.
But anyway a short time later on. After both me an Sakura had decided to meet up with Li and Madison in the town square. The four of us were busy conversing with each other. When suddenly out of the blue, I then wound up suddenly getting an uneasy feeling. And so, with me still continuing to feel this very uneasy feeling...
"Sakura, Li, you both felt that too right?" I then proceeded to say over to both Li and Sakura with quite a bit of cautiousness to my current tone of voice.
"Yes Zachary, it definitely feels like the presence of Clow Reed," Li then proceeded to say back over to me with in response. But then, out of the blue...
"Li, what on earth has gotten into you?!" I then heard Madison exclaim with clear and obvious surprise in her tone from out of seemingly nowhere. But, before me or Sakura could even attempt to react. Li's body began to suddenly move of its own accord, to which he then suddenly proceeded to use his Jian to charge towards Sakura. To which he then wound up taking a swing at her. Which was then quickly followed by him taking a swing at me not even second or so later. And then...
"Li what the heck man! Why would you...Wait a second, why is Li clutching his hand holding his Jian with his other hand as though he has absolutely no control over it?! Well then, I think that it's time to find out just what exactly is causing Li to act like this against his will," I then proceeded to think to myself. And thankfully, I wasn't going to wait long to figure this part out. And also, neither word Sakura either for that matter.
Because it was then that Li decided to use his water element talisman in order to help expose exactly what it was that was controlling him. Which in this case, turned out to be what were clearly a vast amount of strings wrapped around him. Which was behind the cause of him going and attack me and Sakura.
And so, without wanting to waste even another second. And so, with me then proceeding to turn my attention over to Sakura briefly, to which we both then proceeded to nod to each other. We both then proceeded to pull out our respective Star keys. "Oh key of the star, with powers burning bright, reveal the staff, and shine your light, Release!" Me and Sakura proceeded to chant together in unison. To which as the all too familiar feeling and sensation of sand and wind proceeded to blow quite fiercely around me and Sakura. To which our respective Star keys proceeded to quickly expand into our respective Star staffs. To which me and Sakura proceeded to quickly grab hold of them with a quick overhanded downward grasp. To which we both then proceeded to briefly twirl them, and then strike our respective battle ready poses.
And now, with our respective Star staffs now in hand, I then proceeded to pull out the Sword Card. And as I then proceeded to throw the Sword Card up into the air. Me and Sakura then proceeded to chant together in unison. "We call upon the power of our stars, ancient forces near and far, Sword Card discard your former might, and draw your power from our light, Star card!" Me and Sakura proceeded to chant together in unison. As we both proceeded to raise our respective Star staffs towards the spinning Sword Car. And as the Sword Card then proceeded to quickly stop spinning, as the design on both the front and back changed. Both of our respective Star staffs, were then quickly changed into swords in a flash of light. To which we both then used our respective swords, to cut through the strings that bound Li. And only once the strings that bound Li, had all been severed. Both me and Sakura then proceeded to breath a sigh of relief. However, even though me and Sakura had now succeeded in transforming the Sword Card into a Star Card, our journey as Cardcaptors, was still far from being over. But, more on that at a much later date.
