As he finishes his breakfast, Raj instructs Aiyar to bring the car around so they can head to MoneyKandan's apartment. He already knows the address from the glimpse he saw in the future.
As Iyer drove the car, Raj sat in the backseat, pondering how to achieve his goal. He knew that in three days, Iavarasu's mens would drop the box in front of the apartment.
As he knew that those men's would likely get confused between Flat Number E6 and Flat Number F6, Raj pondered the fortuitous alteration caused by a cricket ball. The innocent play of children had inadvertently damaged the letter "E" transforming it into an "F".
But there is problem as Raj realized that he lacked the precise timing of when the event, the delivery of the box in front of the apartment, would occur. Understanding the urgency of the situation, Raj realizes he must maintain a vigilant watch on the apartments. He's aware of the narrow window of time between the men dropping the box and MoneyKant inspecting its contents. Raj knows he must acquire the box during this brief interval. As he does not wants to know the people that he acquired that box.
Deciding that waiting for the perfect timing to retrieve the box is too risky, Raj opts to remove Manikandan from the equation altogether. By eliminating him from the scene, Raj can buy himself more time to acquire the box without anyone knowing.
To remove Manikandan from the equation, Raj needs to acquire his apartment first, as he knows that most of the events are going to occur there. By taking control of this apartment from Manikandan, he will have more time to retrieve the box without interference.
Acquiring Manikandan's apartment will also benefit Manikandan, as he will be spared from the potential difficulties associated with possessing the box.
------- Security guard's POV ------
I have been working as a security guard in Lakshmi Garden Society for nearly 15 years. Unfortunately, the residents here tend to be quite stingy. They rarely give me tips or show appreciation for my work. However, there are a few exceptions, and one of them is Manikandan. He always makes sure to tip me whenever I need it, and I truly appreciate this kind of people.
As I was searching for those individuals who can tip me, my attention was drawn to the entrance by the sight of a sleek Black SUV gracefully rolling into the premises. The SUV car parked nearby, As a security guard, It's my duty to check which person comes and goes from society premises and chance to earn some money in the process.
I resolved to assess if the occupants of the SUV were potential candidates who might offer me some tips. It was common for me to observe the behavior of individuals entering the society premises.
As the SUV glided closer, As the window descended smoothly, revealing the interior of the SUV, I caught sight of a man, seemingly in his early twenties to mid-twenties, seated in the backseat. Flanking him were two burly figures, presumably his bodyguards or associates, occupying the front seats.
---------- Raj's POV -------
After around three hours of driving, I finally entered the premises of Lakshmi Garden Society. As I glanced around, my eyes fell upon a security guard who bore a striking resemblance to the one I had seen on the screen when I used the future tickets. Intrigued, I decided to approach him first.
As I rolled the window down, I scrutinized the guard before me, attempting to find any resemblance to the person I had seen on the screen. While there was a similarity, I couldn't help but notice a slight difference, the person on the screen had a moustache, whereas this guard did not.
So, I decided to step out of the car and survey the surroundings firsthand. As I scanned the area, I noticed the inspector, who bore a resemblance to the character I had seen on the screen. However, I couldn't help but notice a discrepancy—the inspector on the screen was bald, while the one before me had a head full of hair.
Observing this difference, I realized that the characters portrayed on the screen might not perfectly mirror their real-life counterparts. This realization prompted me to be cautious and not take everything I saw on the screen at face value when using the future ticket.
Approaching the security guard, I retrieved Rs. 1000 from my pocket and inquired, "Where can I find Manikandan's apartment?" He gladly accepted the money, a smile brightening his face, and replied, "Sir, I'd be happy to assist you. I'll take you to Manikandan's apartment." The security guard then escorted us to Manikandan's apartment.
---------- Moneykandan's POV -------
"Today, I lost my job. The company executives decided on a layoff, and unfortunately, I was one of the ones let go. It's a tough blow, especially considering how hard I've worked and how much I've dedicated myself to my job. Now, I'm left feeling uncertain about the future and what comes next. It's a daunting prospect, but I know I need to pick myself up and figure out my next steps.
I have a lot of responsibilities weighing on my shoulders. My sister's wedding is approaching, and I'm feeling the weight of promises made to my sister's future in-laws and her soon-to-be husband. They are asking for financial support, with my sister's in-laws seeking money and her fiancé needing a bike.
It's essential for me to fulfill these promises to ensure my sister's happiness and well-being in her new family. Additionally, I'm responsible for taking care of my mother, who relies on me for support. On top of that, I have a girlfriend whom I care deeply about. In order to prove myself to her father and earn his acceptance as a son-in-law, I need to show him that I'm capable of providing for her and being a reliable partner. "
As I grappled with the urgent need for money and a stable income to fulfill my promises, a knock on the door snapped me out of my thoughts.
