Chapter 47 - Deal [ Part 2 ]

Raj, after checking his account balance and confirming the transfer.

"Ding, you have received 20 destiny points for making destined child financially disabled."

Raj then turned towards Daya with a smirk. "Okay, let's get down to business," he said. Raj picked up his phone and dialed Saanvi, putting it on speaker.

"Hi Saanvi," Raj greeted.

"Raj, I was just thinking about you. You didn't come today," Saanvi's voice questioned over the phone.

Raj's expression remained unchanged. "Saanvi, I'm breaking up with you."

Confused, Saanvi replied, "What are you talking about?" Saanvi thought, "When did we ever have a relationship? There's something wrong here."

Raj continued, "I mean, when I proposed to you, I didn't think it through. Now that I've thought about it, I don't want to be in a relationship with you. Let's just be friends." He hung up the call, leaving Saanvi bewildered.

Daya, frustrated, said, "What do you mean by friends? You said you'd leave her alone."

Raj, with a calm demeanor, replied, "I said I'd break up with her, and I did. Besides, if I suddenly stop talking to her, she might get suspicious of you. And that brings us to your second gift: the reason she's been avoiding you. Just give me some time to finalize the deal with Vasu, then we'll talk about it."

Daya retorted, "Why do I have to wait? And what's the reason that if you suddenly stop talking to her, it would make her suspicious of me?"

Raj didn't respond immediately. Instead, he focused on the papers in front of him, leaving Daya seething with anger. Daya thought to himself about the injustice of the situation: first Raj lays a hand on the girl he loves, then he 'sells' her back to him, and now he refuses to completely exit her life.

Meanwhile, Vasu observed the interaction, sensing the tension between Daya and Raj. He knew that this situation was far from resolved.

After some time, all the property transfer documents arrived. Vasu said, "Before signing the documents, I want to see the money." Raj instructed his men to bring the money, which was stored in the basement next to the room where Vasu's brothers were tied up. When Vasu saw the money, he felt satisfied and signed the documents. After Raj's lawyer checked and confirmed that everything was in order, Raj allowed Vasu's men to load the cash into their vehicles.

Turning towards Daya and holding all the documents in his hand, Raj said, "Daya, the reason Saanvi is avoiding you is quite simple. Do you remember the day after you released Saanvi's fiancé? I found out you were going to Venkata Rao's farmhouse to deal with him. So, before you reached there, I took Saanvi and showed her how corrupt you are."

A realization came over Daya. He thought, "That must be the reason she is avoiding me. She must be scared of me because of what she saw." Daya was very angry at Raj but controlled himself.

Raj continued, "And for your solution, you just have to return Venkata Rao's property to him and convince her that what you did was to save Venkata Rao's granddaughter's life. That's it."

Daya started thinking about how he could make the situation right and what he could say to make Saanvi think positively about him. Then a sudden thought came to his mind, and he realized it was the perfect solution to his problem. But as Daya thought further, a sudden realization came over him. Looking at Raj, he asked, "The property, how much for the property?"

Raj replied with a smirk, "Smart man. I always liked smart people. And the answer is 100 crore."

Hearing this, a pang of pain came over Daya. Vasu was also in shock. He realized why Raj hadn't mentioned Venkata Rao's property before the transfer documents were signed. If Raj had mentioned it earlier, Daya could have taken it from Vasu directly. But now that the transfer was complete, Vasu couldn't do anything. He couldn't even use force, as Raj was a powerful person. Daya was having a headache. He had just lost 200 crore for Saanvi, which was two-thirds of his lifetime savings. And now, to make up to her, he also needed Venkata Rao's property, which was crucial to his plan to impress her and make a place in her heart. And for that property, Raj was asking for 100 crore, which was all he had left. Knowing that he had played into Raj's hands, anger filled his mind. He pulled his gun and pointed it at Raj.

Seeing this, all of Raj's fully armed people also pointed their weapons at Daya and Vasu's people. Vasu and his men were scared. Vasu came near Daya, trying to hold his hand to direct the gun away. Vasu said, "Brother, don't make a stupid mistake. If you don't want the property, just let it go. You're making it difficult for me. I've also paid for your mistake. Don't be impulsive."

Daya was not scared; he was firm. But he also started to think about it. A few seconds later, following Vasu's instruction, he put down his gun.

Raj knew this might happen. Ever since he received the passive skill Monarch's Thinking, his critical thinking abilities had been enhanced, allowing him to find the perfect solution to any problem. This skill also promoted clear-mindedness and enabled him to remain calm, even in the face of an enemy. he was calm even when Daya points gun at him.

Vasu, taking his men, left the scene with Daya, who was seething with anger at Raj. Daya decided he wouldn't comply with the deal; instead, he thought he could find a solution on his own.

Raj knew that Daya would eventually come back to him for the property, if not today, then sometime in the future.

As Daya, Vasu, and their men were walking out, they saw a beautiful girl entering the premises. Daya discreetly took a photo of her, thinking she might have a connection to Raj.

----------------------

"Sneha, you should have called me before coming here," Raj said, his voice tinged with concern. "Recently, I've been dealing with very dangerous people. Your life would be in danger if they knew we have a connection."

Sneha looked taken aback by Raj's serious tone. "Raj, I just wanted to see you. What's going on? Why are you involved with such people?"

"I am a businessman, and sometimes in this line of work, I have to face difficult situations and deal with dangerous people," Raj explained to Sneha, trying to put her at ease. "For example, your father was a collector before, so he had to deal with people like this too."

Sneha was still a bit skeptical but decided to let it go for now. She trusted Raj and knew he always had a way of handling things.

Raj, sensing her unease, changed the subject with a warm smile. "It's been a long time since we met. How do you want to spend time with me?"

Sneha's face brightened at the change of topic. "I'd love to catch up. How about we go out for lunch and then spend some alone time ?"

----------------

The next day at Venkata Rao's place, Raj sat down with him to discuss their arrangement. "Venkat ji, as I mentioned last time, I am here to help you with your problem. These are 20 crore rupees for your property. I am buying it." One of Raj's men placed a large bag of money in front of Venkata Rao.

Venkata Rao, an honest man, looked at Raj with concern. "Mr. Raj, you have already seen that I have sold my property to Vasu. How can I give you that property which I don't own now?"

Raj leaned forward and replied, "I know that what I am offering you is much less than the property's actual value, but it's still better than what Vasu paid for it. Also, about you owning the property again, I have arranged something that will help you regain your property from the same person who helped Vasu take it—Inspector Daya."

Venkata Rao's eyes widened in surprise. "Son, for me, who only got 50 lakhs for the property, if I truly get my property back, I will definitely sell it to you. This is a much better offer, and you are also helping me get my property back. Why wouldn't I sell it to you? 20 crore is a great amount for my granddaughter's future."

Venkata Rao continued, "For now, take back the money. I will only accept it when I actually sell my property to you." His integrity was evident; he had no intention of taking the money and running away. Seeing Raj's trust in him and his willingness to help him regain his property, Venkata Rao felt a deep sense of respect towards Raj.

Raj, understanding Venkata Rao's honesty and integrity, nodded in agreement. "I appreciate your honesty, Venkat ji. We'll proceed as planned."

Raj instructed his men to take back the money. He shook hands with Venkata Rao, who looked relieved and hopeful for the first time in a long while.
