Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Title System

On a small, forgotten island in the East Blue, the rhythmic sound of fists cutting through air echoed like a metronome of determination.

Thwack! Thwack! Thwack!

A young man with striking blue hair, wild and untamed like ocean waves in a storm, stood shirtless beneath the blazing sunset. His name was Delmar Blue, a name that carried the faintest whisper of the sea but hadn't yet earned the weight of legend.

He threw punch after punch into the air, each one sharper, harder, more precise than the last. Sweat dripped down his brow and soaked into the dust of the training yard.

He trained like this every single day—not because someone told him to, not because he had a teacher—but because he had a dream.

To become the Pirate King.

And to have more beautiful women than he could count draped around him like treasure. That too.

But there was another reason—one that no one would believe even if he screamed it from the top of Reverse Mountain.

Delmar Blue wasn't from this world. He had come from Earth.

Back on Earth, he had been the biggest fan of One Piece. He'd read every chapter, watched every episode, cried over every farewell and cheered at every clash. When he had reincarnated here as a new life in this vast, wild sea of dreams.

He had expected greatness. That the power-ups would come, that a Devil Fruit would fall into his lap, but...

None of that happened.

No matter how hard he trained—how bloody his fists, how grueling his routine—he remained... average. People like Zoro made it look easy. Zoro trained like a demon and grew like a monster. Delmar? He trained even harder and barely scraped progress.

He had no talent.

But he had obsession.

And today, just as the sun dipped beneath the horizon and painted the sea orange, Delmar threw one last punch—his 10,000th of the day. It was his record so far.

Suddenly, everything stopped. The wind held its breath. And right before him, a glowing blue interface popped into existence.

[Congratulations!]

[You have thrown 10,000 punches in a single day!]

[You have gained the title: "Fledgling of the Fist!"]

Delmar's eyes widened in disbelief. "What's this?"

A second later, realization struck him like a bolt of lightning, and he leapt into the air with excitement. "Is this... a system?!"

His heart pounded. "Like those I always saw in anime? Like Jinwoo's?!"

He couldn't contain himself. His grin stretched ear to ear as he tapped on the title glowing in front of him—Fledgling of the Fist.

[Fledgling of the Fist]

[Title Rank: E]

[Your obsession for the art of the Fist has no equal.]

[Combat Talent +50%]

[Strength, Agility, Endurance and Will +20%]

[Would you like to equip this title?]

"A title?" Delmar breathed, trembling. "It enhances my talent?"

He didn't hesitate. "Equip it immediately!"

[Title "Fledgling of the Fist" equipped!]

As the notification passed before his eyes, a gentle warmth spread through Delmar's body. It wasn't just physical. It felt like something deeper—something within his soul had been lit aflame.

He clenched his fists.

Then threw another punch.

Crack!

It sliced through the air faster, heavier, and sharper than ever before.

His form was still rough—clumsy, even. He had no formal training. Everything he knew, he'd learned by mimicking shadows and imagining moves in his head. But now… now he could see some of the flaws invisible to him before. And more than that—he could fix them.

"This System is great..." Delmar muttered in awe. Then he called out, "System, do you have a Status Window?"

[Yes, host. Would you like me to explain my functions?]

"Yes, please," Delmar replied, still buzzing with excitement.

[I am the Title System.]

[The Title System grants titles upon fulfilling specific unlocking conditions.]

[It can also reveal upcoming titles once unlocked and show their requirements.]

[The System displays the host's personal status.]

[The number of titles the host can equip is infinite.]

Delmar's eyes scanned the glowing text. A wide grin carved its way across his face.

"So, show me my current status."

[Status Window]

"So I'm already about twice as strong as a normal person…" Delmar muttered. "Guess all that training did do something after all."

"But wait—do those stats already include the percentage boosts from the title?"

[Yes, host. Would you like me to display your base stats alongside?]

"Yes, please," Delmar said. Then added, with growing anticipation, "Now… can you show me what other titles I can unlock next?"

[Yes, host.]

[You currently have 14 unlockable titles.]

"Fourteen?! That's a lot!" Delmar exclaimed.

"Show me them!"

Delmar jumped in excitement once again. "So many titles! And they're all relatively easy to get…"

A confident—no, smug—grin slowly crept onto his face. His hands settled on his hips as he imagined the future.

"I wonder how strong I'll get when I equip all of them…"

He was halfway through fantasizing about tearing through Marines and charming women left and right when—

"Delmar!"

A chill shot down his spine.

He froze, eyes widening.

Oh no.

He turned slowly, like a condemned man facing the gallows.

Standing behind him, arms crossed and a vein twitching on her temple, was a woman with fierce blue eyes and sea-green hair tied in a high, messy bun. Despite the sunset casting long shadows, her glare shone brighter than the sun.

"Uh... hey, Mom," Delmar said with a sheepish smile.

Coral Blue marched forward, grabbed him by the collar, and effortlessly lifted him a foot off the ground.

"Do you even know what hour it is right now?" she snapped.

Delmar blinked. "Uh... training hour?"

"It's dinner hour, you idiot!" she barked. "You've been out here since dawn again! Did you even drink water?!"

"I had sweat," Delmar mumbled.

Her eye twitched again.

"You are going to give me a heart attack one of these days," she grumbled, dragging him by the collar toward their house.

To be continued...
