Thunderous shockwaves exploded through the city. Clouds of debris and smoke splashing into the air, city blocks breaking down from a single attack.
A spark of light shined through the clouds above, Ai Mei came down at high speeds, landing onto the ground, her feet sliding across the rubble floor. She caught herself, quickly facing the sky, her hazel eyes scoping onto the figure of a man.
Greyvus, airborne, pulled his elbows in, "Crane: Billowing Air!!" Greyvus shot his fists multiple times, each strike releasing a bullet of wind aimed at Ai Mei.
Ai Mei was baffled, her eye widened, "he knows shang fu??" She asked herself, making knifes out of her fingers, folding her wrists, aura surging, "Mantis: Praying Cleaver!!"
Ai Mei released a swift counter, green crescents of chaos slicing through each bullet of wind that came to her, cutting down buildings that stood in their way.
Greyvus quietly landed atop a small tower, looking down before Ai Mei.
"How do you know Shang Fu Arts?" Ai Mei asked, arms resting beside her hips.
"I was also taught the ways, obviously," Greyvus sharply replied, "But I was also your fathers rival…back when things were different."
Ai Mei raised a brow, 'my fathers rival…? I don't remember ever seeing him…' She thought to herself, making a conflicted expression, "but why cause this then?? You obviously made the citizens here leave the city for a reason. I don't understand."
Greyvus shook his head, "do you have any idea who your mother is? Why your ears are different from your sibling?"
Ai Mei grazed her own round, yet sharp ear, "what about it?"
Aura began to swell from Greyvus once more, "you're not just some half-breed wench. You were born from a damn demon…" Veins popped from Greyvus' forehead, "Mantis: Green Bullet."
Greyvus' body had flashed in green, already beside Ai Mei, and shot a palm straight to her face.
Ai Mei bent back, fast, flipping her feet up to kick Greyvus.
Greyvus bobbed through her foot, and grabbed her leg, slinging Ai Mei to another building.
Ai Mei flipped, landing onto the wall; the force of Greyvus' throw made the red bricks cave inward. In that second, Greyvus lunged to Ai Mei, shooting a punch!
Ai Mei hastily raised her arms as Gryevus' fist connected, destroying the entire structure in the process, debris and dust spilling out into the sky.
Ai Mei was sent straight into the air, spinning like an axe being thrown. Greyvus didn't let off either, running across the floor, quickly following her.
The half-fellen fixed herself in air, using her chaotic art, translucent aura shrouded many debris and broken objects across the battlefield. Ai Mei swept her arms forward, and everything her chaos touched turned into a weapon, firing straight to Greyvus.
Greyvus gritted his teeth, "Tiger: Clawed Palm!" Red aura bursts from his hands, and smitten each speeding object, breaking them down with one punch, still pushing forward to Ai Mei with no problem.
Ai Mei looked at a nearby shop, and made it rise from the ground, sending it right to Greyvus.
Greyvus growled, and palmed the building, taking it out with one shot.
'Now's my chance!' Ai Mei thought. She quickly controlled her own body, shooting herself down to Greyvus. Ai Mei brought her knees to her chest, flipping, and slammed her feet onto Greyvus' back, crashing him straight into the ground!
A shockwave thundered, Ai Mei was sent flying back from the wide crater, landing away where Greyvus laid. But Ai Mei could hear the man's deep chuckles, walking from the smoke, barely even damaged. Greyvus patted his uniform, "do you know who the Preghiere All'Inferno are?"
Ai Mei didn't answer immediately, her guard at its highest point, "…yes…" Ai Mei replied slowly, "the six most dangerous mortals in the Omiverse."
"Correct," Greyvus replied, pointing to her, "and you're the hellspawn from one of those disgusting individuals. Ai Ling."
"…Wh-what…?"

White flames formed around Crim's hands and fired a blast of heated beams at Morlis.
Morlis rolled past the searing columns of fire as they crashed into the wall behind him. Morlis quickly lunged to Crim, forming his hands like blades of spears, "Snake: Sinister Fang!!" Morlis yelled, sending multiple speeding thrusts at Crim.
Crim weaved through each shot, left, right, weaved under and slight bob back. But Morlis continued with his onslaught of attacks, spinning low, sweeping a kick.
Crim leapt over, slamming an elbow down to his face.
Morlis grinned, raised his arms, blocking the attack, the wooden floor under his feet caving in, "do you really think you can beat a disciple of Shang Fu??"
"Seems like you're already having trouble to me," Crim snickered, being shoved back into the air. He flipped, landing perfectly on the ground, bouncing on the balls of his feet. Crim raised his hand, gesturing Morlis to come forth!
"Tiger: Pulsing Rage!!" Morlis screamed, sending himself forward, swinging his hand overhead, hammering his palm downwards.
Crim pivoted, dodging past Morlis' attack as his hand crashed into the floor.
Crim moved; a quick jab to Morlis' jaw, then an uppercut! Morlis' mouth was snapped shut like a mechanism, feeling the full force of Crim's punch.
'Why…is he so damn strong…?!' Morlis thought to himself, blasting straight into the ceiling and breaking out of the barrier!!
Crim looked back to Skysin and Elaine as they leapt back from the enemies, "you guys good? I'm heading out!"
Skysin rose a hand without glancing, "doin' good!"
Crim set himself ablaze in chaotic white flames, taking off like a rocket into the sky to join Morlis.
Crim's grey eyes caught sight of Morlis just as he began to plummet back to the ground. Crim swiped his hand forward, "Blaze Firework." Multiple lances of fire were sent off, homing onto Morlis like heatseeking missiles.
Morlis gritted his teeth, bringing his arms back like a bird, "Crane: Air Mass!" Morlis clapped his hands together, and a sphere of powerful winds had formed, blocking off the flame missiles in the neck of time.
BOOM!!
The flames combusted, a huge pillar of white had erupted, shaking the very city!!
Morlis landed back to the ground, his eyes flicked onto Crim as he came storming down. "All of your efforts are futile, boy!!" Morlis yelled, lunging upwards.
Crim and Morlis' fists clashed, the utter power caused the air to rift and thunder! Debris shook, the wind sharpened, and the tension was high!
Crim and Morlis quickly fell back, then blitzed once again. Their attacks were swift, fast, a blurred motion as punches and kicks were blocked simultaneously.
Morlis found an opening and executed. Blocking a punch, he sent his own to Crim's nose.
Crim's face scrunched, and Morlis continued.
A hook to the stomach.
Crim slouched forward and Morlis cannoned a palm to the chin!
Crim was uplifted and Morlis spun a kick, sending Crim tumbling through the ground, crashing into a building.
"It appears I have the edge due to my technique, huh?" Morlis smirked, stepping forward. "Attempting to defeat a disciple of the Shang Fu arts is humorous. If you think you can beat me in hand-to-hand combat, alone, then you must be utterly delusional."
No response.
Crim made flames burst under his feet, appearing before Morlis in the blink of an eye.
Crim was attempting to knee Morlis right in the gut!
But Crim's vision suddenly changed, upside down. He squinted his eyes in disbelief, "what the—"
Before he could even get the last word out, Morlis grabbed the collar of Crim's shirt, and slammed him headfirst into the ground! A huge crater formed, a block of the city diminished in a single second, nothing but smoke dancing in the air. Morlis stared down at Crim, unimpressed, "really? Did you even listen to what I just told you?"
Crim coughed blood, chuckling. He wiped his mouth, "yeah…that was a pretty dumbass move…"
Morlis frowned, one side of his lips raised in annoyance, "yet…I don't see this as a laughing matter. What exactly is so funny?"
White flames drifted from Crim's body as he slowly stood, "you'll find out soon enough."
