What consists of a good life, a life that is peaceful? Fulfilling? Or something else perhaps ?
For me it was being able to create a family. Not a big goal you say ? Well you won't be wrong but let's just say I wasn't someone that big either so a normal goal for a normal person world sound good, perfect even... Except that it wasn't, from family pressure to misunderstanding it all completed into broken relations, hearts, depressed minds etc. and when I finally was able marry someone my family found and approved it all turned for the worst, how you'd ask again right ? Well the person I was supposed to marry was a setup by one of my distant relationship to acquire the portion of our ancestral property which we had received as well as the properties that we owned, having already depleted their own share of things and not having anything else to fall back upon, the result, me lying on my bed Overdosed on unknown drug which I didn't take and trying to get a semblance of peace Finally!
But no nope nada it seemed like peace was out of the menu as I found myself in a cozy office which seemed like it doubled down as a room. I thought 'how hard was the workload of the guy that his office seemed to also consist of his bedroom.'
"You are on a right track but you have no idea my child" a voice replied to my question while ending with what seemed like a sigh.
Quickly turning back I saw a man looking like Akshay Kumar. (don't judge my latest movie related to godly affairs was OMG 2)
I just stayed silent not knowing whether to sympathize with them or ask them if I can help somehow.
And the other guy started laughing, I don't know if they could laugh actually I think they could but not sure what was so funny, or are they laughing in .
"Don't worry Child We are not angry on you, We are more amused if you will... you are the first of many who came before you to actually consider 'helping' us."
"Anyways! Enough of this stuff, lets move onto the important stuffs, normally souls don't come this high up the reincarnation ladder so let us see what caused you to directly be brought inside our office."
He(?) then read through a file that I suppose was about me and finally said "Ooof... That was something that'll do... So you have 4 wishes for which you could pick almost anything, except a few stuffs, So... Go!"
"Could you tell me which world I would be reincarnating in first?" I asked the Man(?)
"You'll be reincarnating in the world of ASOIAF/GOT/HOTD, basically you'll be reincarnating in Planetos."
"~Ooooh Niceeee~, by the way wouldn't the gods there stop you from interfering or something like that?"
And that question I think restarted their laughter...
After that bout of laughter ended, They replied "It is not a problem as the 'gods' in that world are no more than sprites which aren't actually as powerful as you think, but don't get cocky and start challenging them as soon as you are born, they still are strong enough to roast you up if you poke them too much."
Nodding and sighing to myself I asked, "What time period will I be reborn in ?"
"That'll be in the age of heroes, you'll be born as a son of Brandon the Builder, don't worry about not being able to live till 'canon' as you call it, that wont be an issue though as far as what I can see from your wishes is concerned isn't it." They asked me with a knowing smile.
"Yes, well I don't want much just an Infinite resource dimension, which would have everything you know in it in infinite quantity, a system to help me assistive only and eggs of Arceus having the powers of all their plates, Mew and Celebi"
Hearing this they went silent for a moment, which to be honest was a bit obvious, but I waited for them to answer.
Finally they replied, "That can be done... BUT there will be a few restrictions so as to say
1. Till the plot reaches just before canon of asoiaf, you'll be having bouts of sleeping, after you reach 15, this means that you'll mostly be out of commision for most of the parts but still will be able to interfere in major events
2. That time you'll have to learn about your powers and how you could use them on your own as I won't give you total control over it."
"Do you accept?"
Thinking hard about what that meant, I understood that the buffer time was still a blessing in disguise so that over time I'd be able to learn about my abilities and how I could use them. So after reaching that thought without wasting much time I directly accepted but with a condition.
"Yes, I accept, could you however make it such that I will also be having a friend who's stay by my side willingly all that time?"
Smirking(?) they replied "Sure, off you go now"
"oh wa..."
Third person POV
The being suddenly shouts "oh wait a minute... C*ap"
The being sighed "I should have seen this happening."
We can see a screen suddenly appearing and a golden light going over in a trajectory to collide with a white light coming over the same trajectory.
