Chapter 29 - Headlines *

For the first time in several weeks, Sylvaniah enjoyed an entire morning completely free of filming commitments. She fully intended to stay in bed until noon, soaking in the rare silence of the primary villa.

Unfortunately, at exactly eight fifteen in the morning, a polite, persistent knock echoed against her bedroom door. Sylvaniah groaned softly, pulling the thick cream duvet over her head to block out the intrusion.

The knocking came again, slightly firmer this time. "Madam Sylvaniah?"

She recognized the senior housekeeper's familiar voice through the heavy wood. "Yes?"

"President Spencer requested that I inform you that breakfast is currently served in the dining room," the housekeeper announced respectfully.

Sylvaniah opened one eye beneath the dark coverlet, letting out a helpless breath. Of course he did.
