Third person POV
And then, Jean-Max noticed that Janet was in shock and asked what was wrong. Hearing that, Janet snapped out and looked at him. "Mr. Konyvet, there was a curse about a band of ghost pirates who comes to this country to raid it every ten years." Jean-Max's eyes widened, and he was shocked. "What?"
He then remembered that thing that almost everyone in the YIF knows at least once. "Oh…that was bad."
Janet then nodded. "Yes, and based on my calculations, tomorrow is their raid day."
Jean-Max's shock came back and grabbed the book from her to check her calculations.
And…she was right, and Jean-Max was shocked, before thinking about sending a warning to everyone in the island country. At that time, it was past 2 o'clock, and security measures were almost off for open trade and busy traffic in the seas. Because of that, Jean-Max said to Janet, "Mrs. Janet, let's run to the palace to inform the king of this decade-cycled invasion."
Janet then nodded, and both ran out of the estate and to the royal palace in the center of the capital city to do so.
Meanwhile, Russell and his group are doing some routes and stopovers around the YIF, and Russell was making good money out of his new route ventures. Everyone else in their circle were having a good time around YIF's main island. Disaster and terror were just less than 19 hours away. At the same time, Jean-Max and Janet are at the royal palace informing the country's current King, Josué Tao, of the curse of the Chuchilla Ghost Pirates and their attack and raid by tomorrow based on Janet's calculations. Josué, a tall, stocky man of 47 years old with black, stocky hair and dark blue eyes, was shocked and checked that assumption with his personal mathematician, who then did so and was right with it. Because of that, Josué commended Jean-Max and Janet's informative move and promised to command the movement of his island's army for that potential invasion.
And so, the next morning, while everyone w having a good time in the beach when suddenly, a mysterious dense fog enveloped the city, reducing the visibility of sight. While everyone else in the beach were panicking and saying apocalypse-style declarations, Russell and his group were alerted and looked around while wondering what was going on now. And then, sounds of wooden ships came ashore, and planks were landed on the beachside. Then, ghost pirates, all armed and ready for the raid, got off and charged at the people in the beach. The raid of the Chuchilla Ghost Pirates began today, and thus, the decade of their curse had ended.
