Chapter 26 - Chapter 27: Out Of Hand

At the imperial city in the imperial court, the door to the imperial court was slammed open by a servant who came running inside with a frightened expression. When he got to the emperor throne, he knelt on one leg and reported, "Your majesty, I just received a call of distress from one of my subordinates in Blue Fur City, stating that currently, there is a great war of survival happening there."

"What?!" the emperor and the ministers all exclaimed simultaneously. "What about the Blue Fur Organization? Have they not heard about it?" Emperor Zach asked. "Your majesty, it looks like there is something fishy going on in that city. According to my subordinate, this crisis has been going on for more than an hour now, yet they've not received any reinforcement." He also stated that out of the top ten powerful hybrids, only three are still alive, five have died, and two are seriously injured.

The servant said, "That's serious... who and what is behind the attack?" Another minister asked. According to my subordinate, they are being attacked by beasts. The servant answered respectfully, "Beasts!" All the ministers shouted in unison. "But beasts do not exist in this country; in fact, they are very rare in the whole of the Seventh Continent." So how come? Emperor Zach asked confusedly. "Your majesty, could it be that a secret realm has appeared in this nation?" Emperor Zach's right-hand man asked.

Indeed, maybe a secret realm might have appeared, which is where these beasts are from. It might also explain why those two mysterious hybrids were also fighting. Another minister butted in, "Or your majesty..." Seeing that all his ministers had immediately believed that there might be a recently opened secret realm in this nation, Emperor Zach was disappointed in them and could not help but shake his head. "You all are nothing but old fogies who can't think straight anymore. Have you all forgotten that if truly there is a secret realm in the nation, the ancestors would have already found out long ago?"

Your majesty, you're indeed right. Apologies for our incompetence, Mr. Smith apologized. Emperor Zach just shook his head and turned to the servant who reported the crisis happening in Blue Fur City. "I want you to recall some of the warriors that went out for training. Take them to Blue Fur City, but remember, I don't want you guys to sacrifice your life for anybody there. If the Blue Fur Organization didn't send reinforcement, that's their problem." Understood, yes, your Majesty. The servant replied and left.

Your majesty, sending help to that city is it really necessary? I mean, even after the commotion, no one from the Blue Fur Organization came to explain anything to us. I even sent a message to them telling them that you need an audience with the acting chief, but till now, they didn't even bother. Mr. Smith said in frustration. "Why are they this arrogant?" Another minister butted in and asked, "Or is it because of him?" Everyone in the hall became silent the moment they heard that question. Even Emperor Zach's face was frowning. He and Blue Fur are from the same generation; he has a C-grade talent, while Blue Fur has a B-grade talent. One can see the huge gap between him and Blue Fur.

It has even been admitted by his imperial uncle that in the history of Wonder Nation, Blue Fur is the most talented hybrid they have seen. It has to be known that Wonder Nation has a history that dates back to over a thousand years ago, yet Blue Fur is seen to be the most talented hybrid ever born here. As if perceiving the tension in the hall, none of the ministers answered the question. They all kept quiet, while some of them were even looking at the minister who asked the question with dissatisfied gazes, as if admitting his wrong. The minister kept quiet and lowered his head.

The door to the imperial court was once again open, but this time it was Miss Lyla from the IGS and her crew that entered. "Good day, your majesty," Miss Lyla greeted Emperor Zach and bowed to the ministers. "Good day, Miss Lyla. We meet again," Emperor Zach reciprocated Miss Lyla's greetings. "Yes, your Majesty. It was out of my calculations for us to meet again this soon," Miss Lyla replied and then went straight to the point. "Your majesty, one of my crew located at Blue Fur City updated me on the crisis that city is facing now. According to my crew, the city is being attacked by beasts. But your majesty, I thought there were no beasts in this country, or is there any recently discovered unregistered secret realm?" Miss Lyla asked.

"Miss Lyla, I'm as well as shocked as you are. Except for our Imperial Gate, there is no other secret realm in this empire. But I've sent some warriors to help stabilize the situations there, Emperor Zach said seriously. Because unregistered secret realms, this is a very serious case. A few centuries ago, the federation announced that every secret realm is to be registered because of the shadow order. It was said that the shadow order have acquired a vion technology from an ancient ruin that can allow them to infiltrate secret realms without the owners knowing. So every secret realm is to be registered by the federation mark. If there is a secret realm that does not have the mark, the owner will be treated as an agent of the shadow order.

Your majesty, what about the Blue Fur Organization? According to our sources, they are the owners of that city. Are they not aware of what's going on in their city? Miss Lyla asked. Miss Lyla, I thought you were supposed to be at the south district solving the mystery about the two mysterious hybrids that fought there, but how come you're here? Emperor Zach questioned Instead of answering.

Smiling professionally, Miss Lyla answered, Your majesty, investigating a case does not mean sitting down at the crime scene. It also means collecting information. So while I'm here in the imperial city, some of my crews are in the south district of Blue Fur City. Nodding his head, Emperor Zach said, That makes sense. Anyway, as for Blue Fur City, you should know that there's no country or empire that wants to be controlled by any organization or factions formed in that country. They would always be looking for ways to suppress that organization. And as you can see, Blue Fur Organization might be small now, but if given a few more centuries, then their existence would be a huge threat to this empire.

What's your majesty trying to imply? Miss Lyla asked, though already guessing what Emperor Zach meant but still wanting to hear it from his mouth. What I'm trying to say is that I'm not going to send any reinforcement to Blue Fur City. That's the responsibility of the Blue Fur Organization
