Chapter 173 - Chapter 173: Gifted On A Silver Platter

"I'd love to keep on kicking your ass but there is more to this place than just this." Arabella brushed off Lirien's looks as she glanced to the side and so did Lirien.

In front of them were all kinds of weapons, trinkets, artifacts of all sorts and many more. It seemed to stretch on for miles as various treats were brought out to them.

"A benefit of this is that we are entitled to all of this. With no regard whatsoever saving us the trouble of hunting and fetching these resources."

"..." Lirien fell silent as she saw it all. These were mountains of wealth and luxury. 'Even the treasury in Aurorise can't compare to this.' She mused in awe before her eyes landed back to Arabella.

In her hand was a tier seven mana disc core.

*Crack*

Applying enough force, her hands cracked the core before another materialized out of thin air and appearing once more in her hand. "There are like this. As for breaking through, the system should give you a quick run down of how it all works but don't bother yourself with frivolous knowledge."

"Well I have to make a breakthrough, see you in two hours." She clutched onto her mana disc core before her figure vanished from Lirien's peripheral.

She could vaguely sense that she was still around but an exact location was beyond her league. She looked back at the resources laid in full display.

'To think that there are those who toil hard to achieve all of this for the greater good and yet there are others who are spoilt with it.' Laughing at the absurdity of it all.

Hadn't she spent a lot of time laying plans all over, wondering what step to take all her life as she scrambled to get her hands on resources such as these only for fate to deliver it to her on a silver platter.

Recalling how Arabella was able to casually crush a tier seven mana disc core like waving her hand shower how much opulence there was here. A tier seven mana disc core was something that had never been heard of existing in the outside world.

The highest that was ever heard of was a tier five mana disc core. Any higher tiers were either heavily controlled or beyond the local means for any one to get their hands on them.

Not looking far, there was tears of a Lothern. A small laugh escaped her lips. It all felt as if it was mocking her progress however recalling that she needed to get stronger regardless, she grabbed the tier seven mana disc core.

A cool and refreshing feel crossed her palms as she glanced at it. The orb was crystalline in nature, portraying all kinds of colours however her eyes shifted once more and a tier six mana disc core appeared.

Unlike the various shades o color like the tier seven, this was doused in a black color which seemed wary at first however she knew that it was safe.

A prompt appeared in front of her eyes which took her by surprise.

[{Miss Lirien wishes to gain seclusion and meditate, for how long will you be gone?}]

After that a various shades of time dilation accelerant chambers were presented to her.

[{One hour=Two hours}]

[{One hour=Five hours}]

[{One hour=One day}]

[{One hour=One week}]

Understanding what it all meant, she was thrilled as she selected the last one. She didn't know how long it would take her to make a breakthrough thus she decided to take the longest time possible.

As she selected the last option, her figure appeared in a more closed room unlike the expansive and near infinite room that she was in earlier.

'The mana density in her is extremely high, able to kill any low tier beings in an instant.'

She was after all in the fifth tier and even she was having a problem adjusting to it. Her organs were bleeding only to be healed in a second by the slime keeping the cycle on repeat with her out healing the damage that she was experiencing.

If she failed to have the slime as if currently, her head would have been popped like a pimple and her organs fractured beyond repair.

'My mana disc core would have shattered by the excessive pressure exerted on it however thanks to the slime, it doesn't pose a threat.'

She gave a sigh of relief as she went on with her meditation. Ophelia's image appeared in the same room as her.

"Miss Lirien, I noticed the disadvantage that you experienced during your confrontation with Miss Arabella." She pointed out. 'She has eyes all over, huh?' Lirien sighed as she gave a faint nod.

"Worry not. I'll train you with your devouring skills. However the rest, you will have to learn on your own." She finished off as her existence became more and more solid.

...

"I can't believe it that I did it." Lirien mused as she clenched her fists till blood came out only to be healed right after. Inspecting her mana disc core, it no longer had it's golden tint as of now, it was bathed in a multitude of colors on the last array.

Her body was brimming with strength as she felt invincible. 'To think that I would stand on top of the world in such a manner. And I've been able to do it in four months.'

She felt that there wasn't a thing that she could do before her mind fell back to the reality that she was in. 'For those two to hand us such top tier resources in a casual manner, they are no doubt on higher tiers. Maybe gods?'

She mused before she brushed it off. Her figure appeared outside the doors that she had stepped in months ago however to the outside world, she was gone for seventeen hours.

Arabella was engrossed in her nails before her attention shifted to Lirien. Neither of them could sense the other's tier however they didn't need to know what tier they were on.

"Congratulations on breaking through into the seventh tier." Arabella had a small smile which made Lirien feel gratified. She had spent a lot of time alone in the wild or planning and now having someone she could relate with was a nice change of pace.

She grew weary of the solitude that would devour her everyday thus she was pleased when she saw her. "Thank you." She said warmly.

Arabella's figure was leaning against a staff of slime she had erected before standing upright. "It would seem that you have a mission. Not to smother you or anything but I've been told to help you with a few things."

As if on cue, a small ding rang through her head. It was a systematic notification.

[{Mission issued to Miss Lirien: Kill Zarina Hawthorne.}]

[{Time Duration:Three weeks}]

[{Good luck}]

It was now that she recalled that Zarina had escaped her grasp. She wanted to deal with her as she knew that she would pose a threat late on however time wasn't a luxury that she had to do it.

She had after all several quests thrown at her not to mention with how ill she he gotten back then, she was in no shape do deal with it.

[{Location?}]

She asked to which it was handed to her.

[{On the outskirts of Quillara}]

'Quillara isn't that far from Aurorise and Rien.' She mused as she thought that it was an easy picking. With her high tier and with an expansive skill set at her finger tips, dealing with her wouldn't be a problem.

"The reason why I've been issued to help you is because even though it mind sound easy but it isn't as easy as you think. I'll elaborate more."

Arabella pointed out as their figures vanished from the dome and appeared outside where two Felirs were waiting for them. Realizing the similarities between Arabella and the Felirs, Lirien posed a question as she hoped on board.

"By the way, were you the one who created these creatures? After all they seemed to portray similar skills to you after all." Arabella gave of a small laugh. "What, no. Andrew thought that he'd create them in dedication to the first servant that he found to enlist."

The Felir that Lirien sat on however seemed to react with her. Numerous white stripes became more clear running across it til it was a shade of mix between white and black.

Despite it's magnificence which was a different shade from the one Arabella had. Hers seemed more darker with a sleeker body type.

Both were without a doubt bigger than the average Felir. Lirien felt intrigued with this transformation as she was drawn all the more with her curiosity peaking.

A special connection seemed to spark as it reacted with her touches, something the previous Felirs lacked as those acted more like sentries rather than pets.

"Well let's get going. I'll brief you on as we go." Arabella mused and in a flash, their figures disappeared into the foliage of the forest.

...

*In Sablestone*

Sevyn was casually relaxing as she saw the android in her office assort her work for her.

She was growing more and more accustomed to her new job and with the help and support she had been getting from not only from the surrounding kingdoms but from Ashley as well.

For a Queen, she definitely had it easy. Her kingdom was ever thriving not to mention she had a lot of means of protecting it from any and all threats alike.

She collapsed into her seat as the android left the room. She gave a light sigh as she mused on what she had accomplished so far.

'It seems that the crack not far has gotten bigger and bigger with more demonic aura leaking. The church has already gotten to it as they are inspecting it however I doubt that they will turn up anything useful.'

She had already carried out her investigations and with the help of her means, she had a lot of information on her hands which could be considered great however she felt that it was worthless.

'It seems that the hydra was safeguarding it as it was a means for demons from a time earlier to escape and cross over into our world. I've already set up numerous precautions however I doubt that it will be enough.'

She gave a light sigh before her eyes which seemed distant seem to gain life and vigour in an instant. 'Wait! Is this... No! It couldn't be...'

Her brows furrowed as she made her way out of her personal room and straight into the throne room. The great and picturesque landscapes present was something she had grown weary off.

They were maintained by androids, tools that were limited to the castle. They would carry out menial tasks such as taking care of the gardens, cooking and basic security.

Her figure demanded attention however as of currently, with her movements, she seemed distressed.

"I greet my benevolent Queen." Such words crossed her ears however he brushed them off as her figure appeared in the throne room. Modern and shic was an understatement considering the exquisite craftsmanship that it entailed.

Another delight she had taken for granted as her eyes landed on the throne before a small frown came to her face. Seated on it was a guy she had no form of relation with.

The more she looked at him with his callous demeanor, the more fearful she grew before his jade green eyes landed on her figure. There wasn't any form of malice behind them as they scrutinized her figure.

'He is definitely not a simple individual. Who is he?' She mused before the individual vanished and appeared right in front of her. He stretched out his hand and held her hand before delivering a kiss.

"Queen Sevyn, it is finally a pleasure to meet you." He spoke with a hint of playfulness in his tone. "Oh, well it certainly nice to meet you as well. But my memory is quite lacking. I don't think that we have ever met."

She posed to which a small chuckle escaped his lips. "Of course we haven't met. But Ashley has told me a lot about you." He posed to which she heard a voice coming from behind her. Without looking, she knew who it was.

"Miss Ashley." She mused as she turned around giving respect however her bow was stopped midway. "Your a queen Sevyn, you don't have to act like a surbodinate around me."

The familiar tone of Ashley's rang through her ears before recalling the individual in front of her. "Pardon my ignorance but is Miss acquainted with Sir?"
