Aria's POV
"Oh, Orion, I've got the perfect plan," I said, sitting up straighter as an idea began to take shape in my mind.
Orion lowered his glass and regarded me with a mixture of curiosity and impatience. He had been watching me for the past few minutes, waiting for me to explain how I intended to get close enough to Juniper to plant the listening device. I could tell he was beginning to doubt that I could pull it off, and that irritated me more than I wanted to admit. I had helped him with everything he asked of me, including the restaurant arrangement that should have finally gotten Juniper out of our way. If Lucian had not interfered, we would not be having this conversation.
"What exactly is this perfect plan of yours?" Orion asked, placing his glass on the bedside table. "Because the last time you assured me that you had everything under control, Juniper ended up back at the company with a bodyguard, and Jason is still recovering from what Lucian did to him."
